help!!! when to flower!?!?!

hi guys i recently grew 5 from seed and i was wondering when to start flowering as i topped from the 4th and 5th nodes . will these new colas grow during flowering or do i have to wait until they are grown before i put them into flower? im new at this guys so any help would be very helpful!!!

I usually wait till 12-18 inches in height

Take into consideration strain, space, veg time etc. to help you decide when.
