Hello All.
it's Afro Again. My plant is looking sick. The dark spots and yellowing has and is spreading to the top leaves on the plant aroung the top bud. I know I should expect dying yellowing leaves but this doesn't look right to me. Don't know what to do. 36days 12/12 so I am a little anxious and pissed off.
Ran it through yesterday with PH water, till lots of water ran through She was still wet today so didn't water that much. I don't want to over water do I? It's a shame as she is looking very glittering with stuff (tricombs). It's all over the place. here are some pics. I am desperate for advice. I am a new grower but I have read the FAQ many times. Do I keep flooding her out? Feed her? What the hell do I do? Is she done for?.
Please help me.
Many thanks for any input.
Regards from Afro.

I did check the ph of the run off and it was 6.0 or below. I watered with regular water 7.0 today but only a little as she was still wet. How do I correct the PH???
Many thanks Afro

If the PH is not correct your plants can not absorb the nutes.
Now you say you checked the run off and it was at 6.0? That should be ok. as far as what it should be it depends on your medium.
Hydro you want it at 5.7 Soil you want it at 6.2
After you add your nutes you need to adjust the PH so the plants can use them.

The way to adjust ph is with PH up and PH down. You can find this at any place that sells pool supplies or aquarium store. Most of the time you will use PH down but some supplements and some nutes will lower the PH so you will need PH up.

I hear some people using white vinegar to lower PH but I havent tried it.

The thing you need to remember is that if the PH is off your plant can not absorb the nutes. I looked at your pictures and checked the growers bible it looks like a Phosphorus deficiency. The way to correct it is balance the ph so the plant can get it.
