okay, so i have or should i say had 3 pots inside a small grow box i made with two compace cfls, the plant i hve in the center is growing fine and is prolly about 4 inches, but both plants on the outside didnt make it. im wondering if its because of the lights, i keep the lights on 24 hours a day and water the plants about once a day

this is what the setup looks like the two lights at the top are connected by a T shaped fixture

the three pots are all connected to eachother, and the cfls were probly about 3 inches away from the plants, i was worried that this might be the cause of the plant deaths, because maybe they would be getting burnd by the lights and the middle one ( which is not under a light) would be fine, so i moved the pots lower so they are now about 7 inches from the lights.

they are just in a small grow box so i can start them until i move them outside in about a week or two. the soil is some type of compost i had lying around in the yard from the town, but i think that isnt the porblem because the soil seems very rich because of its dark dark black color. i do feel heat coming from the lights but not too bad.

when i looked at the dead plants the stems were shriveled up along with the leaves, is this what a plant looks like when its burned by the light? or do you know what is happening to my plants?

please help

the diagram got a little messed up there is suppose to be a larger space inbetween the pots and the lights are suppose to be right over the two outside pots
