HELP!! Week 3 is it to soon to top or LST

That’s reassuring when I got her at week like I said the only two big leafs had nutrient burn and he had it in perlite and something else and I transferred her to the hydroponics system via rapid rooter and those clay balls for wicking I was worried because the roots were not in good shape balled up and dry I was worried when I did transfer her she was going to die because roots were not going to get to the water but she proved me wrong I’m already learning with this plant it’s resilient and as long as your diligent with your readings and it’s environment u have a chance to grow some great medicine

Where to start with you? I’m certain you’ll detest me and I’ll be a pariah here for months but REALLY?!?!!!

1) your title is misleading. It’s not week 3. It’s a clone. But for those of you who are seeking a real answer to that question, no it is not too early to top a seedling. The earlier the better, some say (@Silky_smooth1) very young seedlings recover faster than older ones. She tops at 3rd node

2) Fimming is, by definition, almost accidental, and achieved with a low accuracy rate by even experienced growers. If you’re as new to growing as you say, you are not likely to hit a bull’s eye.

3) pictures taken in blurple light are useless to the viewer. Don’t bother

You may hate me now, but I wish you warm regards. Enjoy the process of growing, which is really the most satisfying aspect, because you can get weed anywhere. And enjoy your harvests, sir.

Don’t hate u brother I’m here to learn and soak up knowledge use those tools to produce best quality medicine I’m definitely not even skimming the surface when it comes to growing and I’m glad I’m allowed to do so now without looking over shoulder or someone coming to steal my crop this is all new to me only grew outside In the mountains for fun when younger I’m trying to step it up a notch invested quite a bit of money and time and I want to put my best foot forward I joined this site to link with like minded individuals and individuals with way more knowledge that don’t mind sharing tips and tricks constructive criticism is welcomed brother cheers positive vibes only

No offense kindbuds, but your lack of punctuation makes my brain hurt Lol. Its never too early to train really, it just depends on what end result you are shooting for. If you are just going to flower this one out, unless you are in a big hurry for some reason, just let her go au natural for a week or two. Don't top it until you have at least 6-8 good leaf sets. Then cut it down to 4 or 5. Then spend a week or two training the remaining branches out away from the main stem. Supercrop, bend, crush stems, top again or fim etc at this point if you like. Then just leave it alone to recover and veg out for a couple weeks. Then flower her out.
Its mostly preference, there are no rules. If its your first go, just try something and see if you like the result. Try a different technique on the next go. Compare results and see which you like better. Lots of things work, and many new growers worry too much about small stuff or over think it.

I agree with some of what you said, but I think it's a bit early for you to be giving advice. No offense man, but you're post isn't easy to read either, lol.

Thanks for the critique padawan. But, the guy asked for advice about topping/fimming. I didn't know the club was so exclusive. Granted, I'm new around here and we don't know eachother, but did I give bad advice? No disrespect, please enlighten me; what did you disagree with or have trouble reading?

Just a couple things I didn't agree with. For one, you don't need to wait for 6-8 nodes before topping, and you don't have to leave 4-5 leaf sets. And for his first time, I think he might be better off starting to learn LST, before trying out supercropping. I did agree with some of what you said though. Peace.

updated pics no light @PadawanWarrior don’t mind the humidity because had tent door all the way open and it’s back to 66 now any signs of light burn or am I in the clear

Also that bottom left leaf had accidentally got great white on it that’s not pm ahahaha didn’t wanna rub it off when I mist at next feeding will come off

Thinking of going to a 20/4 light cycle as well

appreciate it man stoked she coming along nicely lowered my ex down to 1.2 at lunch time because she was at 1.6 I’ll dial her back up during flower I think she will be nice Friday I think I’ll top but wanna make sure I do it right but I have been doing some light bending on stems and etc but scared to tie shit down

Don't be afraid to tie them down. These are hardy plants. It's really hard to mess them up.

I agree that you don't have to wait that long, and you can chop it down however far you like. I was just offering a basic open ended strategy to work from, and it was by no means intended to be gospel. I also pointed out that there are no rules, and much of this kind of thing is a matter of preference. I recommended trying a few different thing to see what works best for his situation.
