hi i had a pot with 2 seedlings in, they are about 3 weeks old 3-5 inches tall, one of them started to bend its leafs a bit as the other seedling was taller and taking most of the light, so i decided to split them into seperate pots, i slowly dug down to the smaller plant, and then deeper down it came out with very very little force but no roots attached, what i want to know now, is iv put it into another pot, will it live? will my other one live if the roots are still in it and they rot? i feel so annoyed by tryin to make things better i have made them alot worse

Just transplant it and treat it like any other re potted plant. As long as there is some sort of root system she will recover.
I've done it before... will slow down growth a bit as she rebuilds her roots.

Good Luck

Did you say NO roots attached...like none!? If so then it's probably not going to pull through I'm afraid...

On the bright side, I did something very, very similar on my current grow. I had about 15cm of roots, and lost about half....re-potted it and it's now almost good as new. So if there's even a few cm of root then it's worth trying.

Your ok bro if you plants are standing they should have a root system or else it would have died its just recovering if it looks like it needs support get a stick or something to tie it straight up till it recovers, I yanked on my plant on the current grow going on and fell over with little roots attached and i stood it up and it continued on to the flower stage with a slight decrease in growth , It will recover. its a living thing just take care of it and it will stay alive:) Plants can go thru some shit trust me;) Ive had my trails and errors LOL

I bet it would, treat it like a clone it'll re-root lol. But as long as it has some of its root system it should pull thru just keeping it like normal...

hey get some cloning gel and get it on the base, treat it like a clone [if you fucked all the roots comepletely off]. Like zero roots then, pull it back out and put it in a dome with a heat mat and mist it with gel on the base and in whatever medium you start in. It will dry out wilt and die with no roots!!!!!!!!
