Help To get Bigger buds Next time???

This is my first grow of a strand call krystall haze and 1 plant looks to only have under a quarter and what i can tell to be small buds. I only had 3 50 fluorescent lights on it, with might of been the problem, used no nutrients and had them in veg for quit awhile, but i was wondering what i did wrong or if u have any tips to get bigger buds next time

They look nice and healthy but its probably just the fact that you didnt have any HID on them. Next time get a HPS during flower to make the bud sites fatter. I am waiting for one to finish now that I put under 400w HPS to make it explode, I tried the CLF bulbs and just didnt see any growth at all so I got with the HID, there is definately more heat to deal with but I think its worth it.

You definitely need alot more lights. And some bloom booster nutrients. If you are using cfls, dont be afraid to put them close to the plants as long as it doesnt get too hot. Remember to flush about 2 weeks before harvest. Good luck on your next grow!

How long did they veg for?
I would get a 400w atleast mh for veg and hps for flower
get good soil (foxfarm has 3 weeks of nutes)
get good nutes

couple simple upgrades

if they are the long rod type next time veg only to the size of the lights (if your using them again), and flower them using side lightning.
nutes will help a lot too.
