Ok, I did my best and worked hard to bring it back.

how did you do that

There should be a individual system people can use to put their own like system into their signature. You wouldn't be able to see the users who liked the post but the number of users who did. Each button could be attached to link for that post. It would be a simple widget. IDK. Just typing out loud.
