Ok so this is the second grow in a grow iv had do this out of about 20 so i wouldnt call myself first timer but am feeling like one since i cant get this shit sorted....
Wow, welcome. Uhhh... I think your saying there seems to be a problem for the second time, in about 20 grows? Is that right?
Im getting yellow/brown patches on the shade leaves and then they turn all yellow and drop off and the younger leaves are getting yellow around the edges.
For us to be of any help with what you are describing we are going to need a picture. Here is the problem. What you are describing could just be the normal growth pattern for your plants. If the leaves slowly turn yellow and fall off, the plant is done with them and sheds them leaching the nutes to the rest of the plant. OR, it could be some type of pest, I think you would have mentioned that, if bugs where a problem. Could be nutes, I doubt that at 20 grows unless you changed strains?
Also the fuckin buds are sprouting new parts and all spindly looking.
Well...at least its just the fucking buds that have this problem and not all of the buds. Veggetative Growth should be slowing substantially at one month of flowering. New vegg growth would indicate a possible light leak? Or, the spindly, twisty stuff can be an indication of Algea, again I think you would have mentioned 'green slime'.
Im a month in to flowering,x2 600 hps (x25),canna nutrients and coconut medium,ventilation,room temperature 20-32c,new clones,new medium,new bulbs,blah blah....cant understand whats going wrong as iv never had problems and have nearly finished process of elimination
Of course. The blah, blah may have some answers, or at least raise some questions. The process of elimination requires details. I am not even positve what system you are using, maybe its just because I don't use (x25) canna nutes, are they system specific, ie only used in aero or something like that.

That is not so far fetched, algea build up in a hose can cause all kinds of problem, like twisting, ugly looking overly green new leaves. Usually shows up in more than just the hose. I use double air pumps in all of my reses to control that problem, others use H2O2, and of course have the top of the pots covered as well.
Am i ment to cut off the sprouting bits as last time i did this they just kept doing it!!!My weight was under half the normal amount because of the loose bud it caused!!!
I think you mean they just kept getting new sprouts, two grew were one had been? Yes, this is a confusing area. We talk about sog and sgrog and lollipopping and super croppin and holy .. what ever. A lot of folks do things to control height, and 6 months later they have some bud, a fantastcic amount from one plant, so we think that must be what we all need to do. I just follow what Al B Fuct suggest in his journal,
Get A Harvest Every Two Weeks. Unless you are pruning to create mothers leave the top growing tips alone. Take the branches off the bottom 1/3 of your plants when you put them in flowering and once again 2 weeks into flowering. After that any pruning you do will yield less. Unless you have a height issue, I don't recommend cutting the growing tips on the top 2/3's of your plant and the bottom 1/3 is gone, I use those for clones.
Both of these problems would happen a little towards the end of a grow so i didnt worry about it but not this soon
Ok, so what you really are saying is there are two problems. The yellowing leaves is one? And the other is two tips grow back for everyone you cut?
And these problems showed up sooner than they have before? Hmmm... the second one is easy, don't cut the tip you will only have one grow tip instead of two. And the first may be answered with a picture, we like pictures, a picture is like a thousand words, and one of the plants would be nice too. VV
