help! spider mites when in flowering?

hey sup rollitup just realized i have a good size spider mite problem. and was wondering if any body on riu has had experience with controling spider mites organicly. and is ok to spray neem oil on the buds and what kind of results would i get? would buy ladybugs but my town is completely out of them. need something that wont mess up the buds am in 34days of flowering.

help if anybody has any suggestion lay them down

I've used neem oil in the past and sure shot no pest strips. The problem was neither worked very well at getting rid of the mites but when all was said and done the bud turned out to be just fine. No bugs that I could see and the stone was strong.I might add that the one time I grew from clones I had mites. When I grow from seed no bug problem.

Phytol. I used it 2 weeks ago on a flower room that was 3 weeks in......I used a fogger. I sprayed 3 times at 3 day intervals. I defoliated any leaves with mites. I am now almost 6 weeks in and have ZERO mites. It is active against all stages of mites and creates an inhospitable environment as well. It is also a natural fungicide so it gets PM at the same time. I've used Avid,Floramite,Forbid,Shuttle-O and think Phytol may be better. This was the first infestation battled and I think a dip in veg and a light fog going into bloom will completely eradicate mites from a grow. It is organic and I really dig that.

Disclaimer.......It is an oil. It will burn pistils if applied heavy...thus, fogger only in bloom. If you spray with a bottle you will not get the same result. I was fairly heavy handed at the 3 week mark to allow less use in later weeks.....it worked. Fog from low to high to coat bottom of leaves. This also protects the pistils as the leaf blows up and covers them. The earlier you start and the smaller the infestation the better your chances. Get busy, its not impossible. Peace.

use the neem lightly, try to avoid getting too much on the buds and get more on the under belly of the leaves, and stalks.....hairs can go a lil red from the neem, so go light if you spray the flowers.

Mighty wash... 99.99% water. U can actually drink it its so safe. Works great against spider mites ans u can use it up till harvest. Spray everything really good. Buds and leaves...

Neem oil is strictly preventative. It wont kill them at ALL. if you have the buds fairly big and don't want to use a strong pesticide then I highly recommend Azamax. It disrupts the mites at all stages and juveniles wont develop and reproduce. Its also food grade so can be used up till harvest. I would use this at full strength with a small portion of Scotts eco-sense bug be gone. VERY powerful combo with immediate results. unfortunately it costs $$$

Those little bastards will never leave a site once thier. Spray all around the plants on floors, walls etc....

In my veg i had a big mite problem i just used neem oil 2 times a week for 3 weeks, no more mites

I would not spray anything that far in. Since your nursery is out you can buy ladybugs from amazon and have them delivered to your front door. Thats what I would do.

5.99 + 4.98 shipping for 1550 ladybugs. They should pay for themselves.

Sounds crazy but a vacume works to get webs and mites off buds. It wont stop them or kill them but it cleans them off

pyrethrin maybe organic but there are other ingredients in the product that are not. this product "Contains Piperonyl Butoxide (PBO), a sassafras extract which is NO longer approved for organic use." apparently not as safe as once thought, why not stick with something that essentially takes care of the problem with one application and has been proven to be non toxic to humans, it has been used for centuries.

What kills mites and their eggs in one shot? Nothing we can use on our indoor plants. You have to break the breeding cycle to rid mites. Nits(eggs)are not affected by neem or neem based products. Also spraying your buds with neem will give them a garlic taste. So if you do use neem late in flower then plan on water curing........

Thats why you use a miticide repeated 5 days later when the eggs have just hatched.
