Help! slow growth, but all system a go

So I have this plant that I started from some bag seed about 35 days ago. The bud was pretty decent so I thought I would give it a go, but maybe the slow growth is even due to bad seed genetics?? Heres more info on my room. pics included too. Can anyone help me figure out why this plant is growing so slow. I have been pretty cautious when it comes to not overfeeding as well.

Lights: LED Viparspectra 600w, 16 inch from plant
Grow tent: 3x3x6, mylar
Air: air flow 4" fans in/out + fan in room
Temp: 70-74 F consistently, Room highs never above 80
humidity: usually around 60%
10 inch net pot in 5 gallon bucket DWC grow
PPM: 550 currently
Nutes used:
Calimagic Cal Mag
Fox Farm big bloom, grow big

Not much for a root system yet. I think it was stunted at one point but should pick up growth soon. Increase your room temps to about 80F. Are you using tap water? If so what is the starting ppm. I would give about 3-400max ppm nutes at this stage.

Move your light up to about 30inches its way to close for this stage.

With such a big net pot its likely the roots took longer to hit the water so that's probably part of it.

Also how far from the bottom in the net pot were the roots initially? What was the seed started in? Rockwood, jiffy pellets etc.

Started in 1 in rockwool, transfered to 4 x 4 rockwool. Then took about 3 weeks+ total for roots to start coming out of net pots. So yes the roots did have to travel quite bit first before they came through net pot due to having a big fat 4x4 rockwool cube in there.

I was top watering until the roots poked through. rockwool continues to remain damp and moist on top of rockwool 4 x 4 cubes even though they are far from the bucket water.

Yeah it should take off soon.

alright I'm going into week 5 and for a first grow this thing looks tiny. You think its due to making the roots grow far to reach the water initially? (not like they didn't have water as I top fed, but is that what we are thinking?)

Yup next time just use the 1" and straight into the net pot. About 2-3" of hydroton on the bottom then place the cube in and fill the rest. 6" net pots work well unless you plan to grow trees but you won't in that tent.

You want them in the system as fast as possible. Set the water about an inch below the net pot so the breaking bubbles on the surface keep they hydroton moist for the first few inches. You will find this will give you much faster start times

Ill keep trying 550 ppm for this little thing seem okay to you. About 1/4 strength to start and prob closer to 1/2 strength now at 5 weeks.
I would drop it a bit. It's easier to correct a deficiency than a toxicity. 300-400 will be plenty.

Don't go by weeks go by the plants
