help riu, what power supply needed for 70 mm case fan dc 12volt

Hey guys I have mo clue with electronics I got a pc fan to toss into my ducting for added ventilation what power ssupplu would I need to run it and how would I wire the them ? There are 3 wire black red and yellow, thanks guys

wire red and black up to a 12volt wall wart power supply.
you can use less than 12volt wall wart, but you will have a lower speed

Is there any otherway u can powwer the fan say off a battery or somerthing ? Or does it have to be. Wall mounted

The wall wart is the adapter pack that most electronics have.They have a great switchable one
at Radio Shack for cheap.

Yah, sure you can use a 12v battery. Look in your junk electronics stuff for this. look on the power supply for 12v or close to under that. Nothing over 12v.
