HELP! Powdery mildew. Can't stop it.

Regalia cleared my PM issues last outdoors. But only after I followed a commercial hops grower's advice. I sprayed one time with 1/4 recommended dilution of copper fungicide. Misted everything. Apparently safe by rules and regs of that industries standards for organic hops. Never wish to repeat. But worked. @colocowboy can fill in the information on it's uses here I believe.

TY cowboy.

I had a big problem with it for a couple grows. I sprayed all my plants down in veg with micronized sulphur a few times and it disappeared. It's been a few months now and im honestly surprised it hasn't come back. Potassium bicarbonate, procidic2, regalia, horsetail tea did nothing. I was getting ready to sulphur bomb the room but for now I'll wait and see if it comes back in the future.

Increased air movement won't do much when you already have it. Just spreads the spores around. Better to make sure your temps don't drop more than 10 degrees when lights shut off.

Copper on buds is poison when it's smoked. Any amount.
Just a thought? How much copper is needed by plant for healthy growth? Where does it go? It is naturally occurring in plant and buds. Smoking it now and never thought crossed most minds.

I don't like it either. Last resort thing. Wish it was cheap to have the thought tested in a lab or 3.

Its the physical spraying of a copper salt directly on the flowers. But I get what you're saying. The plant contains copper in trace amounts.

That's true, but increased air will prevent you from getting it in the first place and preventing it from coming back once you get rid of it.

The hops farmers rely on rain to wash the buds. And I mimicked with the hose.

But yes. Raise temps and stabilize. PM dies over 95F. Insure complete airflow. Al the home brews have been failure here. Adding Regalia from start from now on.

And thanks for the chat. I like opinions to ponder.
Peace.

Yeah idk why I wrote it that way lol. Kill off pm with fungicide THEN increase airflow.

It was better once they were gone. The constant thinking you had it licked onto to have it come back sucked. I cleaned everything like mad with bleach and I'm using regalia once per week now.

I'm sorry you're experiencing this. Good luck.

That was about a month after I saw the first signs. When I got deep in the plant is when I discovered how bad the problem was. From the outside everything look fine.

.

Burnzy I've been fighting PM for 3 grows now and I think I have it licked.

You're still in veg so I'd recommend a surfer vaporization followed by fans under your canopy to increase airflow.

I followed Renfro's advice and bought an AirROS machine that creates hydrogen trioxide which sterilizes everything inside your tent. I still had to add 4 fans below my canopy before the powdery mildew finally went away.

.
Where can I find such an item?

You definitely need more air movement in your tent, and likely better extraction. You've got spores everywhere now, so a Sulphur burn is likely in order. At least spray your grow area, and plants with a H2O2 dilution to help kill the spores. Start using Silicon with your seed @ around 30ppm, which will harden up the cell walls, and help prevent recurrence.
What ratio would you suggest?
And what is silicon ?

I swear by spraying the space with copper before planting. Plus as much circulation to the point it doesn't hurt the plant. Wind burn is easy to do. It's also easy to go wild with fans.

The best circulation I've found. Is the box fan hung from the ceiling. It makes a world of difference. Tower fan added...
Where can I find copper spray ?
