i have about six girls that are in about their 6-7th week of flowering all in a a shallow water culture bubbler system. one little bushy plant (hash plant) appears to be ready so i picked a little popcorn bud off and inspected it, and plan to test its quality. then i noticed a seed pod... i pulled it out and it was a mature brown seed. does that mean the plant is ready to harvest?

i did my best to remove all males as they were detected weeks ago but i guess i didn't do it fast enough or something. the thing is, i just moved 3 nyc diesel plants into the tent a week ago to kick into flowering and i don't want them to have seeds too...

what i am going to do is just harvest all the plants even without letting them flushing with just water. hopefully the smoke won't be too harsh or whatever, i just want them out of the tent asap!!!

how should i clean the tent out to ensure that i get every bit of pollen out of the tent and what is the best filter i can get to put over my 4 inch intake to keep any outside pollen out? would bleach do it?

If one plant has seeds, it could just be a very submissive trait of hermaphrodite genetics. Ive had plants that only had a few pollen sacks, but still succeeded in seeding quite a bit of bud. You may have more seeds there than you think.

take your plants out of flowering room and spray them down with water real good to wash off any leftovers. wipe down tent with 5% bleach solution and let air dry. place plants back in tent and continue flowering. Get a hand held 30x microscope and look at the trichomes, if they are all cloudy or getting amber colored, then you can harvest. if the trichs are still clear colored then you might want to flower for a bit longer. Every strain and phenotype is different so lookin at the trichs is really the only way to really know. Many people have anticipated the harvest for so long that they just can't keep themselves from harvesting too soon, there is no such thing as "Over ripe".

well i just chopped all but one of the hydro girls and they all seem to have seeds from the looks of things. haven't seen any pollen sacks anywhere though. the biggest plant is next to go. its a fat hash plant. i had to take a break because the last bagseed plant had my eyes burning for some reason...

after i get the hydro res out of the tent its getting a solid scrub-down and the new nyc diesels are getting a good misting too.
