Help please!!!

I have recently started some autoflowers, probably around 4 weeks ago come sunday. I planted the seeds directly into the pots and the sprouted fine. I watered them daily as they were drying up quite rapidly. However there didnt seem to be much growth at all. After about a week of waiting n feeding plain water They started to look very weak and frail with very pale leaves. There has been little growth and they have not progressed for a while. The room is quite nicely set with temps of 27 light on and 21 light off. The humidity is around 50 percent. I have started to give them organic veg(dont know the brand) at 0.5ml every 1.5litre. This seems to have helped a little but not very much.

Daily water? And planted into what kind of soil? Too much water, no food, sounds like.

No root ball from over-watering means you can't really feed them.

Are the main stalks thin and dark...feel hard to the touch? Not green and succulent? Over watering.

In the beginning you need a tiny rooting cup and no water beyond the the initial damp medium, no food.

You need a root ball, and the roots need to hunt for water. You did the same exact thing we all do at first.

You did too much.

If the stems are purple, hard, and thin, you can't recover them, ime.

10 days on a clone with no watering. The roots ran out big time and quickly.photo 1(3).jpg

I transplanted them into the 6" azalea cups you see, and in another week, I had to put the bottom saucers on to keep the roots out out the 2.5 gal rose bucket, until they get tranplanted into that, next week. 20 days for a 6 inch root ball. YES!! That is just coco coir for the small start cup (the bottom of a 16 oz SOLO drinking cup) Then the rest is 50/50 coir and hydroton clay balls. Massive drainage. But, still, I only water feed, every 3 days. They need to dry a bit to panic the roots into growth.

After I get the 2 gal root ball, I then, and only then move to everyday and then 2 times a day for feed water.

I hope this helps. :)

Sorry for the slow reply. Thank u very much for ur help. U wud not believe how they turned out. They did survive haha! 1 has finished flowering at about 4inches high. Despite there will only be around 2gram wet weight It looks kinda like a good top lol! Jus super small. The others have week or so left. And will hopefully produce around 3.5gram of dry product. Im starting some new 1s now n will be potting up in stages as per ur advice. Thanks again

Well, this is my first time to get a good veg result. I have bloomed those little ones. So, congratulations,. Any finish is a good one, says Playboy. :) But, the yield vs the light $$ is not worth it.

My goal was to get to 20'' and I still have a month to go. I'm running out of height, nd lowered the res stand these 2 are on. So, that 2 inches a week is not out of the question, at all.

Good luck. Get roots, get bush, get buds!
