wondering how far should a 250MH be from the plant, its jst a small space ??

as close as possible. go and hold the back of your hand under the light where the top of the plants are going to be for 30-60 seconds. if after that time its uncomfortabley warm the light is to close. raise it up a bit and try again until you find the right distance where it doesnt get uncomfortabley warm.

What ds420 said. Also keep the air moving around the plant.
