ok i thought i had algae but now i'm starting to think its not i changed every thing in my tank and cleaned it out but after i put the new nutes and water in it came back but i aslo noticed that its only on the roots that are under water i'm using earth juice and fox farms big bloom could it be that because my nutes are organic the water always looks dark and there is a film that is in the water as well as small pieces of stuff in that water too so is it the nutes sticking to the roots

You really need to mix the organic nutes to get rid of chunks and to avoid having clumping on the roots. You will want to clean the roots of any those pieces because it will burn the plant. Also try backing off the nutrient level or slowly bring up to recommended dosage so you avoid it getting too funky.

I use the fox farm but not the organics.I like the fox farm as its all liquid and doesnt cause clumps or build ups. I tried some Dr Hornsby Pirahana which was powder and it almost killed my system so no more drys for me. If its not pure liquid Im not using it unless its a dirt grow
