hey guys
hope everyone is having a good one
i am new to growin hydro & been stuck looking for an answer for over a week & would love some advice before i destroy my little attempt.
I believe it may be a PH problem the read is currently around 6.4. Not sure how to lower it. The leaves are dry and curling upwards with browninsh patches developing.
I will try to upload some pics with this message but having trouble on my end & hopefully they will work.
any help will be much appreciated
Have a great night

Your problem most likely is too much nutrient rather than PH. A Ph of 6.4 is pretty good (could be a little lower) for hydro. Having the leaves curl up like that is a sign of over fertilization. What kind of fert/nutrients are you using? You can correct this problem by completely flushing your system with fresh water and letting the plant drink that up for a couple days...

hey. yeah could be nute problem. what kind of system is it? are they getting too much water. for example, in an ebb and flow system, pots should fill for about 15 min. maybe 4-6 times a day. do you check ppm or conductivity? decent meter is critical.

The edges of your leaves indicate that you have a heat problem. Find a way to lower your temps. Also, a Ph of 6.4 is too high. You need to keep it between 5.2 and 5.8; no higher than 6.0.

i dont post on here much but you guys are giving wrong info. in an ebb and flow system you want to flood for about 3-4 min. with the time it takes for everything to drain you will be around 15 mins, and you do it as needed. I run a ebbe and flow system and with young plants I water once every 2 days as they get bigger i go to watering once everyday. at the end i might water 2 times a day. PH should be 5.6 and then let it go up to 6.3. you dont want to add PH down everyday its bad for the girls!

What kind of lamp are you using?
