This plant started out really nice but then leaves started tacoing around the top of the buds almost like a burrito. Then the tops started turning brown. My first thought is it couldnt be mold. I'm at 30% humidity, 1000hps 3.5ft above top of plant, 440 cfm intake fan, another air fan blowing circulating right on the top of this plant top. Stuff on sides don't have much brown, only near main stock. Didn't feel mushy nor grind into powder but...

I chopped off a nug, speed washed it (dipped it in a glass of water for 15sec) and now it's super mushies compared to green part of bud.

Help plz asap, if it is mold wanna chop it for it spreads to my super healthy beatifull plants.

First picture is either bud rot or from you "speed washing it" don't know why you did that. If you see any grayish white fuzz then it's definitely mold. Hiding from the first picture I wouldn't smoke any thing that looks like that nug.

Hold a bud under a really bright light, blow on the inside of the bud and see if any fine powder comes off. I always do this on larger buds as I trim and sometimes you can't even see any mold damage or bud rot on the surface, and even on the inside it's barely discolored.

It might just be really dried out from light burns or nute problems. The edges of some of my buds will get dry and crispy if I let them go too long after a good flush.

Looks like mold to me. When you take the dried bud off the stems have a look at the color of the stems. If the bud dries brown, and the stem is brown or grey when its dry, its mold. Dont smoke it. Are you spraying the plants with anything?

I don't see mold, but youve washed it, right? Just looks like dead plant. I wouldn't smoke it if the rest of the plant isn't effected. Don't smoke the brown!
