cOULD BE:
A. oVER NUTES AT SUCH AN EARLY AGE..... SHOULD OF SATURATED SOIL BEFORE PLANTING AND WATER FOR FIRST 4-6 NODES... IF NOT MORE.... iVE BEEN KNOWN NOT TO DO ANYTHING UNTILL THEY ARE 2FT HIGH.
B. yOUR SOIL...... IT DOSE NOT LOOK REAL GOOD
C. SLOW RELEASE FERTZ ..... PERSONALLY I WOULD NOT USE YOU HAVE NO CONTROL
D. OVER WATERING.. i BET YOU WATER EVERY DAY? iF SO, ONLY WATER EVERY 2-3 DAYS AT THIS STAGE OR WHEN THE TOP 1/2CM OF SOIL IS DRY. oR WAIT UNTILL THEY TELL YOU........

mY OPINION YOU SHOULD JUST LEAVE THEM ALONE FOR A WEEK OR 2 AND JUST MAKE SURE THEY HAVE WATER ONLY. (iF NOT LONGER)
LESS IS BEST..................

That sounds like soil with fertilizer in it to me. I could be wrong but that is what it sounds like. If you still have the bag or can go to where you bought it read a bag and see if there is fertilizer in the soil. If so you may want to repot into plain soil and then add all your nutes yourself later when the plants get old enough and that way you can control what they get and when they get it and in what amounts.

yea the white is perlite and the blue ball are slow release ferts. i have never had problems with soil that has nutes in it and you usualy dont see problems unless you add nutes on top of that, the nutrients in that will last about a month, after that all you have to do is add a few handfulls of new soil on top or transplant it into a bigger pot with new soil. dont worry about getting nutes or giving it any other nutes. for your first few grows it really is just something else to get in the way. get a few grows down and then maybe check out nutes. if you want to strengthen up the stem you should just get a small fan, maybe a computer fan or a small desk fan and have it on the plant just enough to make it quiver, this will simulate wind and make the stem grow to suport the top.

if you do decide to get nutes later when its bigger, i reccommend General Hydroponics flora series. its a 3 part advanced nurtient system, probly the easiest nutrient system to begin with. if you get it PM me and i have a really usefull chart that will tell you exactly how much of what to mix with however much water and what the ppm will be with that mixture, if you get a nutrient system you need a ph up/down kit also. General Hydroponics also sells a very easy system for that too.

k thats fine man! that means its past its prevegitative phase, from now on there will be more leaf growth and not as much noticable stem growth, the closer all of your leaves are together (the shorther the stem between leaves) the better. it seems like you are on track and heading in the right direction!
