i accidently left my heater on for about 3 hours and the temp shot up to about 96 degrees...and the leaves looked like this when i came in...i think they are burned due to the heat and not nutes or nething considering that was the only factor that changed...they were harder than before...should i cut them off? what do i do? help!

looks like the heat riased the respiration rate of the plants and they got light bleacged. nothing you can really do. i would leave those leafs on until they wither, dry and practically ready to fall off. until them, leave em, as why would you want to cause anymore undo stress at the moment? they will prob be ready to pluck in week or 2. there are still nutes in those leaves the plant may need.

yeah the light bleaching is normal. taking a 2nd look at your pics-those upper fan leaves-were they always this color-dark veins and light intervienly?
are there nutes in the soil and are you feeding them nutes? also looks like you have about 2 weeks tops before you may need to transplant

ummm...dark veins...im not sure exactly what you are talking about...u mean how they are dark green in the middle of the leaf and as it goes out lighter? there are nutes in the soil and they get a VERY light mixture with their water every other feeding or every 3 feedings...what problem are you saying the vein thing could be? as far as i can tell, all of the new fan leaves are really light and gradually get darker...they all have looked that really light green, even the bottom ones that are dark now...u gotta understand those top fan leaves are less than a day old...a new pair of fan leaves grows to about 1 inch or 1.5 about every day or day and a half...but yeah im interested in what could be wrong with that vein thing tho...

if anything the veins should be yellow on the new fan leaves and the blades uniform in green-there is def. interveinal banding. it looks like possibly could be begining of some deficiency-mg or zinc. all soil growers should add some fine dolomite lime in their soil-really helps to buffer the ph and is loaded with the micro nutes and is very hard to over do it with dolomite lime.
what ph are you running?

I stated fine dolomite lime. just make sure you are carfeully ph'ing your water. you might have the beginings of the typical mg nute blasting soil nute burn. best to keep your eyes on that intervienal banding for it to worsen and turn dark and crispy. if it doesnt, maybe it is just your strain. but with mg soil, I would not be feeding any additional nutes beside the dolomite lime

its not nute burn...i thought i made that clear that my temp went from 78 to almost 100 for a few hours, and considering no problems before or after, it had to be because of the temp, i just didnt now if i should cut the leaves off or let them die off, which i am going to just let them die
