HELP!! ph problem???

i've been vegging this for about a month and a half now under 4 100w cfl's 6000k. i've been using happy frog soil and fox farm trio. this is my first grow and im hoping its just a ph problem. the new growth is slow and yellow and some of the fan leaves look old and curled back. take a look and any help would be appreciated!

what are your temps like? what have you been feeding them? do you have a ph meter?

to be honest looks like heat stress to me. but you still need to moniter that ph man get a cheap digital ph pen for 20$ off of amazon i have miwakie or how ever you spell it lol.

The last pic definitely looks like there's something wrong going on, can you take some more pics of the really bad parts, try to get as much detail as you can. There are lots of things to consider when troubleshooting a deficiency IE: Are you following the feeding schedule and using the correct amounts? What is your setup? Ventilation? Temps? Humidity? R U amending the HF soil? If so with what? What kind of water? If your using tap are you de-chlorinating it?

i did get a ph pen but i have heard that if you use it in distilled water then it break it. something to do with the transfer of ions and how distilled doesnt have a lot so it pulls them out of the ph pen. so i got a liquid drop kit from general hydro that got some good reviews. heat levels, not optimal but around 79-85. vent and circulation are good. got a 20 inch fan giving a nice cross breeze but not puttin em through a hurricane. but i do agree its prob a ph problem. im usin fox farm nutes and from what i understand they have ph stabilizers in them. maybe let them sit in the water for a while till it balances out?

distilled water. adding about 1/4 coco soil to my soil mix. temp is eh, ok. humidity is good. feeding once a week at 1/2 strength after 1-2 (just distilled) waterings. just flushed it about a week and a half ago. ill get sum pics up fer ya in a min

over watered? but the leaves are almost crispy not crumbling or cracking but crispy. wouldnt over watering have the opposite effect? and this was a gradual down-fall. it did not happen after i watered it

dude it heat stress when my room gets to 86 my plants start doing the same thing it relly doesnt look like a ph problem no discoloration just changes in leaf structer new growth is always a little yellow untill it forms fully just leave it alone if you cant get the heat down my leaves act the exact same way when one of my cooling units gets shut off on acident.

no he thinks over waterd becasus of the leafs curling down but they are curling down because the edges are folding in from the heat thats why the leaves feel crispey to man.

right right. im mean i aint gunna lie it gets hot in there sometimes. would that account for the slowing of the growth too?

just looks over-watered to me. crispy or not.

my pen still works i use it in distilled water all the time its pretty old to lol its been a good lil ph pen to me maby you got a bad one so you check your soil ph with a chemical test? you think that is going to be accurite enough?

o yea man deff would i bet if you brought it down a few degrees you would see a huge change i wonder how we can bring it down easy though hummm.. are any of your ac vents in your grow room blocked off that will drop it down a good bit i had a card bord box on mine. i used a air cooled hood on a 1000 watt hps so heat mangment a little diff but have you got a fan on your lights i bet they get pretty hot sometimes? do you have any kinda ventlation yet?

oh nah its a drop tester for the water. and i never even used the pen yet cause of what i heard but i guess if urs worked ill start usin that shit. test after nutes?

over/underwatering show similar symptoms b/c when too much water the roots lock it out cause they need oxygen. let the soil get fully dry before watering (check a few inches under the surface of the surface). also fox farm soil is dense in my experience lighten that shit up

fyi heat doesnt curl down typically, it curls up because the leafs are trying to make shade for themselves since they cant exchange the heat fast enough

um well the grow room is 5x7x10 ft. and i just keep the door open and its vents out into its another room. i dont know if that counts as ventilation but its not stuffy in there and when you stand in the room there is definitely good air flow
