Help on harvest

Hello all, I am growing a auto blue kush in a 5 gallon hydro bubble bucket, under 1 600w HPS and side CFL lighting in a 4x4 closet using blue planet nutes. The problem is I can't remember when I planted it but I know it is past its harvest time by the book. The thing is, these last couple of weeks I switched lights from 18 6 to 20 4 and continued nutes. The plant, although past its recommended harvest time, is still packing on weight and fattening up buds in a major way, I mean MAJOR. The hairs are 25% red 75% white and still producing lots of new pistols, the trichomes are 70% milky, 30% clear and 0% amber. Question is, should I harvest now or give it a week or 2 since it seems to be adding weight faster than ever? Thanks for help.

"Fattening up buds in a major way". I think everybody wishes they had that problem. Sometimes I wonder in these harvest time threads if the OP is just so proud of the grow, they can't help but boast a bit in a passive way.

There are so many different ways to answer this Q. I would just say use your best judgement. If you are worried about "too early or late" just harvest some of the most mature buds and let the rest of the plant go a minute. Experiment for yourself a bit. Sounds like you did a good job so far.

If you're going to continue to flower, set the lights back to 12/12. At 20/4 it might start to reveg.

No dont harvest yet. First try to get a picture so we can see whats going on. A tricome picture or two also if you have a magnifier app with a good camera phone.

Wait untill all those tricomes are cloudy with a few amber here and there, thats when you know its ready. Sometimes new pistils will grow and try to confuse you when the plant is actually ready, look out for that.
