Help. minature grow(cupboard, lst, pc style),

hi im new here so sorry if this is in the wrong place, i am brand new to grwing or rather nothings ever survived to the second set of leaves... even tho ive had a 100% success at germination in my whole 24 seeds of grow attempts. (all of these were germed wit paper towel an put inside my computer in a plastic bag for three days and then planted into small peat pots and then put strait outside, most of them were just killed from shock but a few grew a bit and then were killed by slugs etc) im stoned so sorry if i make no sense.

right i am growing in a small box which is lined with black/white dual layer plastic sheeting, white side in, and a 250w envirolite, eurolite? cfl lamp red spectrum for flowering is all i have... i have got northern lights from seedsman, £16.99 for ten seeds. ive grown four seedlings, they are now at beggining to grow the first to second set of leaves and are about a inch and a half tall. it has two mini pc fans on them an the temp is around 28c... too high? how to i lower it?

i am going to be lst'ing and maybe topping them, basicly keeping them as small as i can because i have around eight inches of grow room from soil to to light.... i know this is tiny, very tiny(dont bother telling me im gonna yeild less than a eigth worth cos i know)and the reason im growing is just the experience and fun of it and to be albe to smoke at least one bowl of ganja that ive grown.

anyway i would like to hear from computer case growers and low height scroggers etc who can advise me on having and keeping a tiny little baby ganja, i would like to know any advice u have on when to start switching to 12/12, i was planning withing two weeks...? any thing you can suggets is cool.

p.s anyone whos grown northern lights please can you tell me about the smell when does it begin to smell like skunk smells, also will a plant the size im planning stink up a whole room? (max size around 18cm tall and can be about 30cm wide and 20 deep)

I've read a lot of PC grow journals and with the space you have, you need to start flowering NOW. dont top, just LST.

When LSTing, be careful how you tie to the plant because they will out grow your loop/tie quickly. If you can, use something you can just bend into a hook.

I read somewhere that northern lights is not a stinky strain during flowering.

thats good about it not being too stinky exactly what i need untill i figure out these carbon exhaust tthings.

i have had them in flower for about four days, when do they begin flowering and preflowering? ive read some websites but dont see it happening yet.

p.s i moved it to a cupboard which is larger and more light proof now. it has about 14 inches for the plant to fill between soil and lights. will be lst'ing when needed

hey there. i have some experience with short grows. i LST. i haven't got around to trying a scrog system because i prefer to grow a main cola, just bent over, instead of topping a half a dozen times. i should try it sometime, though.

your plant is WAY too young to flower. even if you want it short. if you flower it before its 8 weeks old the plant will simply not be mature enough to produce potent THC. it is worth it to wait, bro. switch back to 18/6 lighting and get it to 8 weeks.

utilize topping. or LST with supercropping; which is basically letting a grow tip get tall and then twisting and bending the stem near the base so it falls over limp. the grow tip WILL grow back up toward the light and will be stronger for it and will move growth hormones around to other parts of the plant too.

/|\ thats quite a bit misinformative... I've flowered all my plants at 4 weeks and get HEAVY thc'd plants. Also, I dont care what kind of LST/topping/scrogging you do you're not going to fit a fully mature two month vegged plant THEN flower into a 14" space.
Also if you go to icmag.com and search for a user named "mr micro" you can see his ULTRA micro grow where he flowers almost immediately and again, gets good results.

you can fit a four foot plant in a 18"! LST will allow it. Keep training the plant to grow arount top of the bucket with tie downs. Look up some 12/12 from seed grows, good info disproving these guys 2 cents. I have grown 4 footers in a rubber maid box with lst. No toping....there will be others that agree with this
