yeah i can get some of that. what is it? always thought it was something that u mixed into the soil.. but it must be something u add to the water. what does it actually enhance?

bone meal can be mixed with your soil or your water or you can just sprinkle some on top of dirt. It is a very good bloom food, some people make "teas" out of it. it is high in potash and low in nitrogen , perfect for flowering. The npk #'s are ussally around 0-8-1 or close to it. Blood meal is more for veg it is more like 8-1-1 .....perfect for veg.
So its the same food you got , just with some of the impurities took out.

maybe im just over worried but this does not look healthy to me. this is all over my lower leaves they die off and it moves up

pH Fluctuation

Both of these leaves in figure 3 and figure 4 are from the same plant. It could be over fertilization, but more likely it is due to the pH being off. Too high or too low a pH can lock up nutrients in the form of undisolvable salts and compounds, some of which are actually toxic to the plants. What then happens is the grower then tries to supplement the plants diet by adding more fertilizers, throwing off the pH even more and locking up even more nutrients. This type of problem is seen more often in soil mixes, where inconsistent mixing of the medium's components leads to "hot" spots.

this really sounds like it makes sense and the picture seems kinda close. should i just feed it strait water for a cupple feedings?

yes... since u growing in soil.. keep your PH between 5.8-6.3 .. they absorb nutrients better in that range.. wont get no salt build ups.. dolomite lime with help stable your Ph .. and has a good source of Calcium & magnesiumbongsmilie

have you even gave them any food yet? IF the ph is fucked it is your soil not your food, unless you been feedin a whole lot more then i know about......(i been in this thread since it started) Soil will hold a ph of its own. soil is a natural buffer . So if that soil want to keep a ph of 5.0 then thats what it will keep , no matter what ph your water is. EX... If you use ph'ed water at 7.0 then your soil will bring it back down to 5.0 in a couple of days. those numbers are not accuate but just an example. I water mine with a ph of 4.8 ! and my soil buffers it to a more manageable number. GO get some dolomite lime to add in your soil and you dont worry about ph nomore.
You have had a ph issue for awhile now, but the only thing you can do is add dolomite lime. PH is a very hard thing to control with dirt. and if ph was THAT bad then that plant would have done "locked-out" by now.
i do agree it is kinda low or high but strait water will not help that unless u really have been overfeeding enough for salt build-up . (i doubt it)
alright how much of what have u been feeding them? do you know the ph of your water ? and can u put a pic of the whole plant on here..... i think its just the bottom leaves not getting the light they need ? not sure but we will fix it :bigjoint:
are u in 12/12 yet ?

I am in 12/12 and everything i have done to the plant sense recovery is in this thread. i just watered it with water before checking back in on this thread. i shoulda taken i picture then also but again i removed about 20 leaves. the dead leaves are getting bigger and higher up. seems like every morning i lose another bottom row of growth

Here are pictures of todays death and all sides of the plant. each day i lose 1 layer from the bottom seems to be killing more each round about

side thoughts, could this be my mg potting soil that i had it potted in before? i didnt removed the soil from the roots or anything just took the thing and put it in new soil

yes i think that mg is buffering the ph too low...., when i replanted mine , i destroyed the roots an got rid of most of the MG. BUT i dont think its that bad in your case.? You NEED some dolomite lime (if not for this one.......for the next round) go ahead and keep usin the food every other watering. My opinion on that plant (mainly cause how the top looks) is it is all normal. look at how bushy that plant is..... It is trying to keep up the healthyness on the important part (the parts that get the sun light) All my plants under floro's are doing the same thing soon as they get that "full". And yes it does seem like the whole bottom dies everyday, but i think that is just because it needs all the "energy" from those lower leaves to use on the upper leaves. Thats my opinion, now here is what i think u should do : since you are still early in flower , i think you should pinch ALL the lower stems and leaves that dont recieve as much light as the rest of the plant. On indoor setups we are focusing on the canopy only, everything under the canopy will be trash anyways. I think they call that "lollipoppin" around here. do a search on here for pruning techniques called "lollipopin" or lollipop and you will understand a lil better.
She is a very healthy/pretty plant so lets make somthin of her!

Next i think will be in water. :-) i took 4 cuttings awhile ago from her and put them into a bubbleponic tote i built. 3 of them are dead and 1 seems to be doing just fine. it topped its self in the rooting stage. I plan to take some cuttings from this once it gets bigger. Im going to go check out the pruning techniques i been looking i always was alittle curious on what i should or shouldnt cut

side note i started framing a 5x4ft room so far the frame shell is up and the door is framed out. some time this weak will be dry walling and debating on what to use for a door.

Im hopen haven a specific room for all my grow stuff should help on the mess and help keep my other room cleaner lol. not to mention again even easier to control the temps and the light.

I dont know... Its really bothering me all this death on my plant. i cant shake feeling like something is wrong. i have not looked at her in 2-3 days just to find alot of dead crap.

I figured i would toss in some pictures of my little closet i threw together. its not done yet but its use able. Still gotta get a door nob some trim for the door to help block the light leeking in on the sides and to make it look normal from outside. Mud and tape the drywall along with paint to match the rest of the room. who knows. i just keep fiddling with it.

And a snap shot of my little clone thats been really slow going. still figuring out my water

those white spots are where the lil fuckin mites ate the green outta that spot. If you have some loot , u need neem oil right away to prevent them from gettin worse. Plus they are already flowering so it needs to be done soon! (i told ya it was a girl)
Mine are so far into flower that i cant spray or anything but MY leaves are almost all white from mites , the tops of my buds are even webbed up. (thats when they are gettin BAD!)
most mites i have delt with do not kill a crop but if u dont keep them at least under control , then they start webbing all your buds up (so they cant grow like they want to.) plus the mites i have now WILL ruin a crop if i dont spray water every single day and keep temps down low as i can. I have never seen anything like the ones i have now!! In 2 days i seen them fuckers make EVERY leave on one plant white! Your do not look like that type of mite but take no chances with um. Even walmart has neem oil, well they used to. I know all the lowes an home depot has it. You need 100% neem concentrate .
mix 1/2 TB per 32oz. spray bottle and its always good to add a tsp of dish soap too. Shake real good the whole time u are spraying (cause the oil dont mix with water very well) AND MAKE SURE U SPRAY EVERY SINGLE CRACK OF THAT PLANT. (tops and bottoms) also go back about 4 days later and repeat and then do that one more time...........that should control them until harvest....
if u flip one of those leaves with spots on it upside down then u will see LOTS of eggs (an maybe some webs)

yeah spider mites, one of the oldest pesticides is nicotene, couple of ciggi buts in some water and give it a good spray, it breaksdown over a coulpe of hours and leaves no taste or odor..

I thought nicotine was so bad for the plant? You have to wash your hand after you smoke and you can't smoke cigs near them cuz they will die or something.

I would say just give it time let her get adjusted to her new home, and just give her fresh water. Give her a semi flush, I always do that and it helps a shit ton. Just taking the nutes away and giving her water, if she starts to lose color then you know that you need to give her some food. It is easier to give food then it is to take food. Jesus knew this and look how good...oh wait nvm. LOL!
Gotta watch flushing MG soil. Very easy to nute burn, even soil 2 months in use. Looks like the lower leaves show nute burn, not much signs of heat stress from what I can see. If your runoff is 5.8 then your soil is probaly a 1/2 point lower than that. 5.2, too low. Get some lime and scratch in a 1/2 tsp to the top of the soil. Use just ph water, 6.4 to 6.8 is what I prefer. Do this for a few weeks and go from there.:peace:
