i bought some skunk no.1 clones from a dipensory here in colorado. they were aero clones and i use a 45 gallon bubbler with 30 gallons in it. there about two and a half days old they had about 7 inch roots when i bout them really heathy root systems didnt look like clone the roots were so well developed. i dont know why but i added nutrients last night and the leave ends curled and the tips turned brown. i changed the water to regular ph water right away and it doesent seem to be getting worse. i'm using a 400 watt hps soon to be 1000:blsmoke: and just want to be shure i just over did it on the nutrients ph and everything is ok the light was 3 feet away when it happend so dont think it was that :joint: using floro grow nutrients only used half recommended dose so any advice would be helpful in that department:eyesmoke: its my first grow so any other advice would be helpful:mrgreen: the roots were growing by the way checked them today and the roots have been growing well so i dont think there in total shock but any advice would be helpful thanks guyskiss-asssorry the pics suck

nice acting quickly man. my most nervous part is that morning i wake up after i added nutes.. with those leaves turning brown that quickly it probably would of killed them. They should recover fine.. wait til the plant is 4-5 inches tall or 2 weeks, which ever comes first and then add 1/4 strength. next week 1/2. then 2/3. then full after they are 10 inch.. some people give it full strength when they are 5 inches tall but i play it a little bit more conseritively than most

thanks for the reply i'll try that. i shouldn't have added nutrients so early on but the roots on these clones were so good i thought they would be ok. do you know how long it will take them to bounce back these pics were taken tonight and i changed the water out last night?

yah a week or longer before they get back on the headie growth spurts, but this isn't taking a week away from it just adding a week to it.

Absolutely no nutrients till they are at least a couple of feet high otherwise you'll burn the roots and f**k the lot of em. How to fix; flush with water and allow to drain. Keep the humidity around 60 if you can this is the most important thing for clones otherwise they grow skinny and lanking as f**k, remember its a weed which strives off a damp environment. Don't water everyday, while they are young like this give them around 2-3 days in between water and soak on the watering days. Have your lighting around 2-3 feet above, doesn't need to be any special lighting at this stage, maybe fluro now then HPS once they are over a foot high. Easy really. Cheers and best of luck.
