I've always wanted this.. I can tell. It's like my wife telling me; babe.. I'm so sorry about all the stupid things I've done in the past; I was really looking for you the whole time. We're One!

I can imagine the forest floor. I can smell it. I want it. This is apart of what I am...

I have been researching all day on this topic and I would like to build one like this guy is showing.
Do you guys also do this?? Leave your plant in to compost itself?

I have seen so many recipes too. In case anyone did not get the recipe he stated (but you could tell he was not fully giving away everything he particularly used... he may of given a general description but.. look how he is talking about hypothetically when he is giving the ingredient list.. not personally.)
But maybe it will still be fine?

1 part Peat Moss
1 part compost (he said any kind.. do worm castings count as compost??)
Aeration (he uses lava rocks/ rice hulls)
1/2 cup kelp meal to 1 cu ft of soil
1/2 cup alfalfa meal
1/2 cup of rock dust
Red wigglers
Night crawlers

So basically something like this.. then put it in an area to cook for a few weeks?
I also have comfrey plants growing outside. I plan on making a tea with those, if anyone would like to share a recipe they use.

I have also been doing research on the super soil. I have seen negative feedback about it. And my gut reaction is naaa naa naa...definitely not subcools..
preferably i would like to NOT shop at a hydro store bc its obvious all those are Circle Triangle know what I mean??
Well fuck.. basically everything is. Maybe I'll just have to trust the All Seeing Eye alfalfa meal. Damnit. Are we even sure its real Alfalfa?
XD

I've got two threads that talk about Recipes... Search for Forest Mould and Soil Receipt these are two different threads with good conversation about creating your own Soil truly from Scratch.

But yeah honestly I'd just follow a pre written recipe, get the Basics and Foundation down, Then venture into creating your own. But again you can also Create your own from scratch but I Assure you you will have some kinks to work out.

But I believe in the lasts posts of the Forest mould thread I give my current recipe. I'll find it and my book and post for certain though later today.

But yeah that's a Basic soil mix. You can add Lots of stuff, check out ROLS and just add shit to your soul.

Like I add... Kelp, Neem, Dry Molasses, Humic and Fulvic acids, Gypsum, Sulfur, Cottonseed, Mycos, Greensand, etc...

It really just depends on your budget.?
