help making new bong

i have these two glass things
vases im guessing there suppose to be. but is it possible to somehow put a hole for a slide in the glass?
if so please explain?

Either a diamond tip drill bit or possibly a steel bit using a slow speed with a steady stream of water. I've never tried the second method.

oh and i want to add something
the hole on the top where you would put your mouth is pretty big so is it possible to put a bowl on top and make a stem leading into the water and then a hose to suck out from?
