Help! Lowryder lighting ratio!

Ok I have looked for hours and can find any info on vege to bloom light ratios for low Ryders. I have a 4x2x4 grow area. I'm planning on getting 3 200w cfls, and 4 68w blulbs which could be all vege or bloom or 2 &2 (all ready have one 200w 6400k) should I do a,b, or c

a) 2x 200w 6400k with 1x 200w 2700k and 4x 68w 2700k?

b) 1x 200w 6400k with 2x 200w 2700k and 4x 68w 2700k?

c) 1x 200w 6400k with 2x 200w 2700k and 4x 68w 6400k then after two weeks swich them out for 2700k

What ever way I do it I should get about 54,000 lumens giving me like 6500 lumens per sqf. Plenty of light I belive making for some fat lowryders! I just don't know what spectrum is more important!

well the blue spec is most important for veggin and the red spec for flowering...that is all u need to know.......ill say one more time for you blue is the best for veggin and red is the best for flowering...so you tell me what you need to use?

hey whats up cliddy(clit?)=) ,welcome to RIU...well 1st u dont have to veg lowriders.they auto flower...but i whould just mix up the light to get a mixed spec...i think they sell full spec cfls but not sure..i use a MH to flower and it works fine..im happy. good luck MEANGREEN.

you use mh to flower???how is that working for you????i would like to see some pics of plants you have flowered under mh.......how many watts is your mh?

Yes I am fully aware of what blue and red does. You see I need the plant to tell me what spectrum is most important. And I really have tried talking to them but they don't seem to talk back... Funny that.

As a side note the watts are real watts. And anthor option

d) 1x200w 6400k 1x200k 2700k and 6x68w 6400k/2700k in some ratio.

Thank's for that Meangreen. I think that I'll go in wattage 400w vege and 470w bub. Perhaps with a few smaller bud cfl's in strategic positions. That will give me over 7000 lumens per sqf. Should be more than enough light

yea i think that will work fine.....dont for get that there are hps lights everywhere they are on everything....just find one that is easy to jack and take it no one is going to hand it to you you have to take it.,....thats what i did...just make sure what ever you use to cut the wires has some rubber on it so you dont get shocked...

dude you need to give it the veg lights for the first few weeks until it starts growing its first buds then change the lights to red, i would anyway safe

also give them20 h light all the way through they auto flower, i have grown auto flower before with some other at 12 12 and they grow tall and spindly so make sure they get 18 to 20 of light atall times even when flowering

I'll keep that in mind.... But I like the concept of cfl and if I use HPS I'll burn the shit out of my plants. The roof is only 3.5feet above the pots and I'm hoping they will get 24 in high. So CFL are perfect for my application.

yea with that space cfls are good they have like no heat...just go with mostly blue for veg then go mostly red for bud....if you go by that you will haVE some dank bud to smoke.....as far as 20 hours of light while flowering auto or not i would not do that..

I would get as many as you could and then add more during flower :blsmoke:

Im getting close 2 finishing my gro...just harvested 1 plant couldnt say how much but LOOKS 2 b close 2 1oz. Im growin ak47xdiesel under 400w mh.i used 20/4 their whole life and am pleased w the resulst ALTHO the buds do seem airy but that could b my noobness or the lite...prolly user error tho

Nice dude. What nutes did you use and what
grow medium? I'm going with soil and then I have decided if I want to use bat shit or somthing more intence. My goal is 1oz off every plant. I have lowryder 2, afgan kush autoflower and lemon skunk autoflower. I can't wait to try the lemon skunk but looks hard to grow.

With a 400w mh that's about 29000 lumens. How big is your grow space?

Officially my space is a 3x3 table but since i only had five plants ive had the light alot closer, mayb 12-18in tops. Im using ffof, gave earth juice bloom and molasses throughout flower.I still fed a lil N w earth juice grow til i had 1 mth left, and stopped feeding right around 2 wks ago, and most of the sun leaves have died off, probably harvest the rest by sunday mayb mid next wk tops. I had 1 plant show a calcium def and another show a mag def, and those definitely suffered in the end. I say you go ahead and try the lemon, as with all nutes start slow and work up. How do you feel about the autoflowers? i like them myself, but cant really clone so it kinda sux imo. neway, gotta b off 2 business

I love the concept of auto flowers. This is my first auto grow though so I'll know how much I like them by the end. I don't mind not being able to clone as I'm just going to polinate a bud or two and get seeds that way as seeds grow faster then clones. Plus I can experment and try to cross a few strains and see what happens.

Thats good thinkin man. I wish i wouldve tried makin seeds but i was 2 worried bout messing up an entire grow...this was b4 i started reading the how tos on it. I havent read nething bout the lemon so can u tell me wut makes it hard?
