Help! Is my ballast bust or what??

right i have had my ballast 12 months- never a problem- im on week 4 into flower (600w) - yesterday my light worked- but today NOTHING! Ive been to the local grow shop, checked and swapped fuse on ballast for a new one, the extension the ballast runs off ive checked and swapped the fuse- bought a brand new bulb and still nothing- i have even bought a relay unit incase its ote to do with the electrics but still nothing!!! i am thinking to but a new ballast but surely they last forever? any help please before i have to buy a new ballast- if this helps my light comes on at 7am-7pm its getting cooler but not that cold (uk) could this of damaged anything???

Not some cheap shit u bought then? Mag ballasts are a thing of the past man, digital all the way! Nowhere near the amount of heat that comes off them and also the fucking anoying buzzing aswel.... But thats just my opinion

ive had dozens of ballasts over the years....the ones i still have and use....MAGNETIC BALLASTS,,,,SOME RAN FOR 8 PLUS YEARS STRAIGHT...NEVER O PROB....ALL STILL GOOD....THEN A I TRIED A DIGI BALLAST, LASTED 6 MONTHS....GOT A REPLACEMENT(NO WARANTEE) AND NOW IT RUNS SO HOT IM SCARED TO USE IT....SO IM BACK TO USING MY 20 PLUS YO MAGNETIC OLDSCHOOL BALASTS............JUST SAYIN..
