I've received a letter from my landlord saying that our contract is about to end and he might not renew it as he's selling a few of his properties but he will give me 1 months notice BUT and it is a big BUT I currently have a 9 plant grow in a tent - cheese cutting going in the loft and they are really coming on well so I'm in a bit of a predicament really as it's looking like I'm gonna have to move with 9 cheese plants half way or a bit more through flower :(

Any ideas :( advance frustated thanks to you all...

What can you do other than move? Nothing. If you haven't received your notice to vacate yet and he is willing to give you a month notice, thats 4 weeks. Don't sweat it until you have to.

but heres what you do. when is your dark cycle? If it happens at night, you should be ok or close. You will have to stress your plants but thats that. Get a uhaul and load up your grow lights and everything you need to turn the lights on. Load all that up, put your plants in(covertly obviously) leave the cargo light on and have a friend or two or three or 9, and have them hold on to the plants for the ride. Arrive, run inside and get setup. This WILL stress your plants and if its cold out you may want to find a way to heat the uhaul cargo area. If its not too bad, or some days are nice, pick a nice day. if your in soil its easier, but if your in hydro your friends may get wet. Ive done both this way, they suck. I had to move great big ass outdoor plants inside and then some tall ass hydro plants too. the hydro mission sucked the worst. Plus my dark cycle is during the day and so it was a really dark ride to and fro. very disorienting.

What I am saying is that you have no other choice but to move them if you need to vacate. If you are moving locations, fine a spot, build a room and move the plants at night as fast as possible. What other choice do you have?

I will have a place to move into but it's transporting the crop what I'm really worried about

What kind medium are you growing in? It has to be easier to move larger plants than a fresh clone man. Like the other poster said, move when your lights are off. Plants are pretty resilient.

what's all the fuss? just move it. :)

break it all down really quick, throw it in the truck, set it all back up. should only take a few hours.

dude your golden. Those things are perfect for moving at dark!! when I moved the plants were freakin six feet tall!! just have someone ride in the back of a uhaul or similiar type truck, get it over to your new place and set it all back up.

i moved 4 plants an hour away. they were fine, just seemed to stop growing for a couple days. i give away clones in ziplock bags with water in em and most are fine. the ones that arnt are caused by the people i give em to. currently i know i am going to move in july and have timed all my different grows to end no later than a month beforehand. im about to put my last clones and last mother in flowering. if you have that tent, you can zip it up, get a big ass cardboard box and slip the box over it.
