Help I don't know what's wrong with my plants!!

Distilled water
Ffof soil
two 150w cfls
One small grow LED
Two of the strains are northern lights
Waiting on my ballast to get in for HPS
The biggest is about a month old the smaller ones are about 2and 1/2 weeks old in veg
I have JUST started nutes yesterday on the smaller ones and have used a very small dose of ffof
BigBloom. I stopped using nutes on the bigger one and flushed it however I didnt really use a whole lot of nutes one feeding of BigBloom and one of GrowBig, it has a severe claw issue and yellowing I'm assuming this is either nitrogen def or toxicity.
On the smaller ones the, Plant leaves are canoeing under and drooping or curling down and top leaves are shriveling or canoeing over I moved the lights back in case of light burn however I do not believe it was light burn, I am not sure if it is nutes deficiency or toxicity
The yellowing started mostly from bottom up I believe
Please help!!!!!

Your not dealing with a deficiency, you are dealing with plants that were started in too hot of a soil. Try starting them in a seedling soil next time for first two weeks, then transplant to 1/2 seedling soil and 1/2 ffof, then on next transplant go to straight ffof. You'll want to add some cal/mag to your distilled water as well.

That makes since and I have heard Ffof is hot, but my buddy has used it his entire grow with no problems. Also they didn't start burning until just a few days ago and why is the big one just now burning hot really bad. So call/mag will cure them? What else can I do to save them?? Thanks again so much for the help!!!!

Bugeye^^ is correct, use seedling mix, tho I prefer to dilute the soils with 30% perlite as it aids drainage, avoid root compaction, and dilutes these hot soils so you may add your bigbloom later ...avoid having plants at different ages will drive you crazy ...germ of 4, to harvest 4 ?

right now flush the plants with 3 times the volume of the pot with air temperate water, allow to recover overnight or in dim light 1 day

Geezus...those plants are a wreck. Id pitch em and learn alot more about some growing techniques and invest in everything you need to grow indoors while your researching and learning more

Fuck Ocean Forrest and Fox Farms .. Inconsistent soil mix with a tendency to be acidic from the get go .. The older it gets , the worse it becomes from my experiences selling the shit in a hydro shop .. Countless grows were lost through the years all due to this blend ..

I do have everything I need except a ballast and cal/mag. I'm not a newb this is my first indoor soil grow yes but I have had several great grows and yields and yes I realize they are in rough shape that is why I was desperate enough to start a forum. If your not going to help or give advice then don't waste my time posting at all, I love how the one asshole telling me to research more is the one guy not providing a solution. I came to rollitup for help not to be insulted thank you

Dude seriously your SO right it! People swear by it by it has given me nothing but issues, I even cooked it and broke it down and the 1st week my plants were absolutely gorgeous

This is great Vostok, thanks a lot man! What seedling mix is best?
And should I still give them cal/mag after I flush them? And when do I start with nutes again?
I will put the older one outside so I can maintain the same schedule for the rest of them

People that have bad grows from FF products dont know how to use them. If you take what I said as an insult, you are going to have a hard time fixing mistakes

It's not knowing how to use them? It's soil Jackie, it's just a hot soil that's why I already explained I cooked it and broke it down, FF is also inconsistently acidic which is why it is an issue for some people, seriously man people are not as ignorant as you think they are and yes telling a hydro and out door grower that they need more research and growing techniques is indeed an insult and wtf do you think I'm doing then that's why I created the forum Jackie for RESEARCH. I think it's funny how you are the only one on the forum NOT providing a solution so at least stop being a part of the problem and learn with the rest of us from the wisdom of the experienced and the knowledgable

Lol its not beginner friendly and its not all the same due to outsourcing depending on locality .. When I lived in Cali I swore by it but now in Michigan I can say that its not of the same quality and its even sold now at the local hardware due to it being made available in mass here now

Solid.. If I could give you two star favorites for this I would

Yea, that makes since. Coco mixes hmm.. Ill give some a look for sure! What seedling mix do you recommend ? Especially for hot soils like Ffof?
When using the Fox soils I would mix it like many Happy Frog/Ocean Forrest and I always added dolomite lime too it and never had any issues with seedlings .When not able to cut with Happy Frog I would cut the Ocean Forrest with Pro Mix

Now that I use Coco predominantly I buy Ecoscraps premium potting mix , it is a decent coco mix supplemented with vegan compost and its less than $15 1.5cf
