Help, how do I kill brown slime algae???

I have researched but most of the products to make teas are in the US. I can't even find 'Hydro Sparkle' on ebay. Is there any product in Australia I can use besides h202 which I have tried but the slime keeps coming back.

Bleach solution.

I use bleach when cleaning the res. I have lightproofed the res, though I hear that brown slime is not an algae but bacteria and can grow in the dark. Res temps are ok and is aerated well. Would the fish tank additives be ok for dwc?

Your right there diatoms. Yes aquarium additives would be ok in hydroponics.

I dont know if youve checked Heisenburgs thread yet but theres 2300 is posts on slime.... https://www.rollitup.org/dwc-bubbleponics/361430-dwc-root-slime-cure-aka.html Theres always planting them in dirt if theyre not that big yet

yeah have read Heisenberg's tea thread, problem is the products listed are US products. even considered putting in soil, they are a foot tall now, might try to manage it until I can get some sm-90 sent from overseas and boil all my res water.
