HELP HELP HELP please...freaking out here

My plants are in flower. They have beein in flower for 3 weeks and 3 days. I have a small grow in box i built in my closet that i am currently growing 2 plants in.

Here is my situation: The fucking maintinance guy came over the other day to do some shit to the apartment. I was at school however my roomate was still at the apartment. My roomate knows waht im doing and knows that i do it legally and he knows what to do about my grow and hid all the ducting so that theres no way the maintinance guy could have seen the box or the ducting coming out of the closet. The only thing he saw was all of my nutes and shit on my counter in my bathroom.

I had no idea this guy was stopping by and my friend didnt think to hide all the stuff in my bathroom.

Now the scary part. My friend just informed me a security guard that normally stops by due to our noise complaints pulled my roomate aside and told him that i needed to get whatever i had going on in the closet out by tomorrow, tonight if possible.


WHAT DO I DO? I live in North CA and i have medical license to grow up to 10 plants but it is an apartment so is it safe to do what im doing or should i take it down because technically it isn't my property.....

I looked in my CA Norml website to see if i could find any laws regarding something like this and i cant find anything .

I am seriously freaking out this is my first grow i dont know what im going to do any advice or help by anyone is greatly appreciated...

Hey there. I don't blame you for freaking out. that kinda sucks.
If you have a medical card for marijuana then you are legally allowed to grow x number of plants for yourself. I live in Canada but we have a similar law but there is a guy here called FDD who lives in Northern california and has a medical card to grow also. I would ask him.

I wouldn't freak out too much. If you pay rent, then it is your place of residence BUT I am not sure whether you need permission to do what you are doing. I'm pretty sure its regulated and/or monitored as to where/what and how much you grow.
Do you have a friend that you can trust where you can store them for the time being?

I honestly think you are in the clear. This guy isn't going to know the legality of the system if you don't so I really think you are safe.

He is either giving you the 'heads up' so you don't get into any possible trouble OR he is trying to shake you so you crack and might possibly pay him off.

You know I live in Canada and didn't even know that our laws had changed in the last 3 years and that it was legal to smoke medical marijuana.

I'm 40 something and have been smoking and growing for years now.
When I told my neighbours and friends that i was applying for my medical marijuana license to grow....I was really surprised at their response.
They were totally cool with it.

MOST people are leary of people that smoke weed or grow it because they are not educated. If it is illegal then they are scared.

You are MUCH more aware and in "the know' of what is going on with the laws in your state.

Use that to YOUR ADVANTAGE!!!!!

Do you have any kind of tenancy agreement and if so what does it say in there about it?

If it is against their policy for you to grow in their properties then you would probably have to conform, if however it doesn't state anywhere in your rental agreement, then you will have right to by law and your license.

I would ask FDD, he has a grow licence in the U.S.. He may have more answers for you. That suck though, I wish I could grow it legally eh?
