HELP GROW ROOM UPGRADE

so my grow room is 20ft x 14ft

i was going to run all tents but im realizing it’s a waste. so im changing everything around. i want to run the whole room. tents are coming down tomorrow and im starting it anew. my main question…

do i need to buy some tables? or what’s the smartest bet. since i know from the ceiling to the floor or plants it’s. a lot further than hanging from the top of the tents. i guess we shall see

any tips? im converting my current grow into a whole room grow

i hate being ignored, you have 37 views and no posts....and im not even an indoor grower that can help lol...but imma start this off.
this guy over at beanbasement impressed me with his DIY table

just made a nice sturdy frame and threw some corrugated roofing panels on top as a drain table....to just channel the run-off. You have a wonderful residential room there so if it was my joint, i'd probably go a bit upper class. I also would consider partitioning walls in a space that size so you can have a flowering section and a veg section...even if they are significantly disproportionate in size.

If you're gonna do the whole room, make sure its sealed. As for tables go, research rolling tables, theres a bunch of them from with wheels on bottom of table or ones with fixed stand but tray moves side to side.

Why take down the tents? You only have so much useable light available despite the size of the room.

Just put the trays right on that floor, it's perfect.. Paint walls flat white and use the whole room. I would also look into a mini-split air conditioner as they're much more efficient than window/wall units and they also help maintain a sealed environment.

A good option for hanging your lights from the ceiling is measure out some furring strips and screw them into the studs of the ceiling to hang your lights from. That or you could use eyelet hooks straight into the studs on the ceiling.

I've seen your posts quite a bit I'm glad you decided to ditch the tents, they're really meant for people who can't build in their place they're living or are just doing a personal grow. When you're at scale you should utilize the whole room when possible. I would keep one or two of the tents for veg and bloom in the room unless you're up to framing in a divider wall.

ok i did it. i left the tent on one. for clones and taking them out into 1g etc. i’m going to get 2x4s and mounts and use the space in between the shell and tent and other side of the shell to grow in as well. very excited for this change. i was stressing on all the tents and a flowering tent. now i can use the whole room for flowering and do my runs through the room as i’m not going for perpetual necessarily but a bigger yield.

the desk and TV are coming out as well not the couch though i need that lol

Not bad...needs a fog machine and lazer lights but it'll do
