help from one with cool tube experience

just got it have not set up yet

i assum the fans pulls not pushes air through does it matter

my question is does it matter from which end you connect
a. end with bulb socket
b. end without socket
c. does it matter

no it does not matter at all. the only important thing about the fan placement is that you pull cool air across that bulb.

I'd actually prefer to push. gives more air molecules at the bulb at any given time. And if the fan blades are plastic, better to have cool air then hot air on them.
But it really doesn't matter for the effective cooling.

it won't increases air molecules, in order to do that, you'd need a larger flow rate, so a bigger fan, because flow rate is flow rate and will be the same whether u push or pull. but i do think ur right about pushin air rather than pullin it through, so the hot air doesnt travel through the fan. but it might not be an issue for a heavy-duty inline fan with steel components

how does hot air pull across the fan? after about 5 mins or so of the fan kicking on the air coming out of the tube is not hot at all. or do you pull the air from your room?
