Help Few male bananas after a 2 day power outage, Herm? Or No?

Okay after about a two-day power outage my flower room was in the dark for roughly 25 hours. This will be the third day with lights back on everything is looking ok , except for the appearance of two male flowers on two separate fan leaves on one of my flowering plants. Does this mean the plant is now a hermaphrodite or was it just putting out a few male flowers because of the prolonged dark period? I'm sure there's a quick response for this any help is appreciated thanks.peace

Do you have any pix of these manners on leaves? Never heard of such a thing.. also, plants floeet by amount of dark hours, so extended dark won't hurt a plant.. it's light during a dark period you have to worry more about..

racer thanks for responding,Have you ever seen where in the middle of a fan leaf a small female calyx will sometimes form, well on 2 different fan leaves on the same plant exhibit this, And as of this morning i noticed on both fan leaves there is a small cluster of male flowers( bananas) forming under the 2 white pistils, I have since removed the nanners so i cant post pics, plant is JackTRipper in 4th week of flower, plant is not exhibiting these male bananas on any other flowering sites or part of the plant,

Power recently turned the flower room on after 2hours after lights out, then they went off for good the next 26 hours the girls were in total darkness

yes, flowering works by plants building up hormones after so many hours of darkness.. we usually use 12 as it's easy and works for every cannabis plant, even though that's not exactly the amount of dark hours needed to trigger a cannabis plant to flower, it's a few hours less for most strains.
so long as your plants will get at least 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness, the flowering hormones will build up and tell the plant to continue flowering.. like i said earlier, it's when the dark period is interrupted with light that the plants will get confused and the flowering hormones will stop building, and if it happens often enough, plants will stop flowering and go back into a vegetive growth phase.. once or twice usually isn't enough, but you don't wanna take chances.. interrupted dark cycles can also cause stress, which in turn causes the plant to show intersex traits..
being that your plants were in the dark for extended periods of time, i'd say the intersex was there to begin with, and it was likely coincidence that it happened to show at this time

Thanks that was ver informative i wish that was my issue lol my light period gets interrupted damn storms lately

Haven't had one myself yet, but yes I've seen it:

If the male flowers merely appear on those mutant leaves, just cut them off.

interrupted light period isn't a problem, it's only a problem if they dark period gets interrupted with light... my power just went off for about an hour, the lights had only been on for an hour before the power went off.. i'm not the least bit concerned..

I know right i had that happen first grow.. we had maybe 4 5 power outages while we were in denver last feb. came home great looking had one plant that had hermit traits still smoked GREAT
 
Now I'm wondering if its just a weird genetic thing or a light schedule thing. I did on occasion screw up the lights lol. Get to high and forget to hit the timer to auto, forget to turn in the big boys when done. Never had a plant throw nanners though, touch wood!
 
i bet it's female preflowers or calyx's nothing to worry about, without pics it's impossible to say though
 
Thats exactly what my 2 fans looked like! Mine wasnt that swollen up , wierd Nice pic , Also lone nanners on fans ,once plucked havent seen nothing else since then , day 52, sweet!
