HELP!! Drooping Leaves... Underwater or overwater??

i gave it a little water yesterday like 50-100 ml and about the same on friday, and i felt the soil just now and it didn't feel wet, but definitely wasn't bone dry the drooping leaves are kinda scaring me. this is my first plant and i really don't wanna lose it. also i began LST last week and the plant responded well, untill this weekend when it began to droop, i loosened all the tie downs and due to not soaking it on the waterings i am considering watering to perk it back up, but do not want to drown it any advice would help : /

get rid of the first two shade leaves its dead weight yes it looks like lack of water. pour till it runs out the bottom then watch if it perks back up then get her on a schedule and stick to it do you use a spray bottle? my girls get a steam bath and they love it

so i soaked em just now and will see if it improves. right now i've got it on an 18/6 cycle and have not been adding nutes or pH'ing my water, could pH cause wilting like this???

give it a lot more water man....like 400-500ml

also the lst can cause some drooping of the leafs, but i think that your problem is underwatering . Peace!!! Cheetah

yes it can, check your ph in your water and soil asap

are you using tap water? and then trying to fix it. if so just get a five gallon jug and go to the water store. I checked the ph from time to time and its always right on the money. take as much as the guess work out as possible.

yes : / i am using tap water but i let it sit out so the chlorine can evaporate out ( i know that much at least ) should i could go to the store later and get some bottled water and flush with that? because i gave it water as the lights went out last night and i've seen no improvement this morning (lights have been on aprox 2.5 hrs and i watered until it came pouring out the bottom of the pot) thanks for the help guys, hopefully it wont die.

if you are not going to get a ph test kit then make sure you get sodium free distilled water.........

well i feel dumb for not mentioning this at the start of the thread but its planted in organic miracle grow 10-5-5 soil could this wilting be not because of under/over watering but because of nutrient hotspots & pH or Na lockout? the plants condition has not improved all day and i'm heading out to get some pH testing equipment/water. growth is stunted and it was progressing very rapidly before this incident heres a pic of the top where the newest growth looks greyish....(boron deficiency is what faq says causes this but i'm not sure, its always appeared like that and has never slowed growth)

i need a better camera too T_T

well i got this pH/nutrient tester today (1st pic) and the soil's pH was fine (6.8-7), also when i stuck it in the tap water it registered a 6.5-7, next a pic of temp and humidity in the growspace, last a pic of the wilting plant under the light not perking up after its recent watering, if pH is fine and theres no excess of nutes what can it be? trace minerals from the tap water??? boron deficiency was the most likely candidate i think from the faq but i dono. also how long does it take to recover from something like this if it can recover, the plant seems ok besides the wilt

hmm if you are using tap water let it stand for a day or two before you feed it to your plants.. also , how often are you watering? I am going to assume overwter because thats what most do, myself included.

lol dude if its dooping you definitely shouldn't soak them.. Give them like a couple hundred ml 100-250 and check back in 2 or 3 hours.. If it hasn't perked up by then its probably overwatering..

i usually end up giving it water every other day or every two days but when i stick my finger in it didnt really feel wet, i have noticed MANY more roots than before this weekend... maybe it just needed a few more roots in that pot i put it in? and i guess i should wait a few days between waterings? its in your standard 8inch pot and when i water the one inch of soil is BONE dry i mean like dust lol anyway i watered last night with sodium free bottled water well see ill post pics later today

I wouldn't trust that ph meter unless you can test the accuracy. I had a similar soil ph meter and it read 7 in a cup of lemon juice. I took it back the next day.

here are morning temps and pics, i think its on the road to recovery after that pure water except the chlorosis on the first set of real leaves, but isnt this to be expected? if it is should i snipe em now or wait, there are baby shoots growing outa where the first leaves meet the stem 1st node and those are not fully developed(dont think you can see too well in the pic) any ideas?? coments?? o btw do i still need to stress about pH since im goin wit bottled water? i mean im gonna check with my meter when i water but as far as accuracy should i be worried?

well i snipped the lowest leaves b/c they were yellow and gave it a mist bath b4 bed and this morning i got up early and sprayed it with some 10-10-10 low strength nutes(done 45 mins b4 lights and mixed at 1/4 strength) and i think its made a full recovery i definately think it was the water and maybe undernuted (yellowing of bottom leaves)

Bottled water can vary in PH. Locally I had spring water from the grocery store at about 7.5 and distilled water at 6.2. I'm not sure if that changes with different providers but thats what I see.

I’m in dire in need of help and no time to search. A family emergency requires us to be away for 3days, so the following is even more critical— We started 12 clones in RW, sitting in water about 3-5 weeks ago, lost several, but those that made it had tons of leaves and roots.

Last w/e I persuaded my master gardener husband to cut back on the water and on Sunday he repotted them into plastic containers w/lot of holes; put a RW cube that weighed 28 grams in each one, surrounded the plant w/ a combo of verm’lt & perlite. Tuesday afternoon the cups felt relatively heavy, but there was no water in the tray. Went downstairs yesterday am and they were completely dry and the babies were droopy/wilted. Husband sprayed and added water to bottom of tray and some seem to be responding. Any suggestions would be much appreciated
