Need a little help determining a problem. Background on the plant. Black Jack 7 days into 12/12. 5 gal bubble bucket. GH 3 part on the nutes with around 1100 to 1200 ppm. Feeding according to the nutrient calculator. I keep the ph in the 5.9 to 6.3 range. Water temps are 68 to 72 degrees.LED light that is 8" above plant. The leaves showing the problem were some of the new growth from about 2 wks ago. Not seeing this at all on the recent growth. Other then that the plant appears to be healthy. Any ideas?P2130011.JPGP2130012.JPGP2130013.JPG

Your PH is to high. Get it down to between 5.3-5.8. You are using Hydro not soil. Why are so many people using ph levels for soil, when they are doing hydro then wondering why they are having trouble these days?

Also, it looks like your bucket is green. I had a problem recently that ended up being the color of my bucket. The problem was that light was penetrating the bucket and caused root rot. Not sure if you looked at your roots, but it might be worth an inspection. Also, check your water temp. If it is anywhere above 70, add some ice. Root problems will also add to nutrient lock out, as well as pH as suggested above.

Thanks for the input. It was a ph problem. Root Rot and light in the bucket I'm really not to concerned about. I always use a" Bene Tea" in with my res water. Got a problem with my PH Pen not reading right.:-(
