HELP.. creepy crawlys

Once again i feel the need to draw upon your expertise ppl.

i have found myself in a position never seen by me in 3 grows. i'm 2 week shy of flush and iv noticed small mites on the underside of some leaves... they are uber uber tiny at mo but i fear the worst. iv got four plants but they only seem to be on one of em right at the back of my tent. no webbing and no obvious plant damage.

What i would love to know is this

1. If it's spidermite can i afford to leave it, flush a week early and hope for the best.

or

2. fight it now in it's infancy but what can i use that won't hurt the plant..

any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.. thx

just a quick update. after researching more in previous threads (which on hindsight i shouldve done first instead of firing off prematurly, sorry) and finding really small webbing on base branches in torchlight, it looks worse than i thought although the mites are still really small. neem oil seems the way to go without introducing predators but how good is it.?

The mites won't get any bigger, they stay small like that, n multiply. Neem oil will certainly slow them down, but won't kill them all, it'll suffocate many of them, as they're sprayed. It's more of a deterrent, than a pesticide, although it does render them sterile, over time, but not soon enough to take care of your problem. That's likely why they avoid the stuff. Idk what I'd do in your situation, probably use neem, keep 'em at bay, and smoke a couple mites in a few weeks. Better than smoking pesticides, I s'pose.lol

Mites suck-ass man, sorry to hear you have them. Next time around, spray your whole grow area with neem, floors, walls, pots, soil, plants, everything, and the damn things won't come back.
