Help-Clones Flowering TOO EARLY

My outdoor clones are 12 inches high and have started flowering after moving outside to harden off. A friend said I should cut off the top bud and leaves otherwise it will continue...any advice?

Once the longer summer months come in they should revert back to veg and flower as usual in august.

cutting or topping it won't help it revert back to veg. if you have lights that you can put on them indoor, you can probably still revert them back without putting them through too much stress. or if you don't have lights, it's still early enough in the season for them to revert back just with sunlight but make sure they get a lot of light as that's the only way to revert it back.
