Help, clones dieing

I just attempted cloning for the second time, and they all died.

I cut branches that had 3 nodes and were about 4" long. (that were in veg. state). I cut at a 45 degree angle, peeled back the "skin" about 1/4", used rooting gel, put in a humidity dome, sprayed 2-3 times a day, the temp. stays at about 75, and I have t-5 lights on 24/7.

I am using Fox farm soil (I know that it's not the best medium for cloning, but I have a lot left over).

This is my second time cloning, and I did everything the same. The first time I cloned I had great results.

well ive been having a shitty fucking time cloning too. how far away are ur t5's from the dome? its probably because ur tryin to clone in soil. clones cant get anything outta soil without roots first. ive been tryin the cloning in a cup of water technique. have only had one cutting get roots so far, and it was just a little bit of root

The T5's are about 6" away from the plants. The first time I cloned, I had a 100% success rate using the exact same method. I don't get it.
