help cfl small and slow ass plant

Sup people im growing a nirvana blue mystic plant and a berry bomb plant for my own use. They have been growing for 6 weeks or so and both are only just under 6inches.

im using a 105w 6400k cfl with shade for veg ill be using a 125w 2700k for flower
temps 80*
6 inch fan
canna terra vega nutrients for veg (i know it is a shit set up)

am i doing something wrong or are they supposed to have a growth of about 1 inch a week?

keep the light as close as possible as long as its not burning it. you really should get a hps, you will be greatly amazed in the difference. its really a great investment in he long run and will pay for itself and power usage. my first grow i spent a bit over $1000 got a 5x5 tent with a 400w hps 170 cfm inline fan with a small cool tube. made all my money back plus about 6 ounces of personal. fox far soil and nutrients no supplements except advanced nutrients super thrive. best thing is, it was all legal thanks to medical laws. had a friend with a serious illness and i was her caregiver. worked out great for us all.

sorry was watching weeds season 3 the left is my blue missy the right is the bomb the missy is topped and i lost a leaf on the bb. the light bulb is exactly 6 inches away

never expected a reply for a while you lot act quick lol

place hand 6 inchs under bulb and move hand closer to bulb till u feel heat thats how far u want it

I'd just use both bulbs at the same time for veg and flowering. And is 6" as close as u can get those bulbs without them burning ur plants, if not try to move em as close as possible.

yes that would be better to use both dual spectrum and i think he can move them closer

try keep them cfls an inch away from the plants at all time mate, the reasons your bottom leaves are yellowing off n dying is that your soil is too wet n your roots cant breath, look up PERLITE, the plants will droop when they need feeding, them greenlamp cfls ar not so bad but u will be better off with hps

u will also get better growth with the roots being able to breath

I'm a huge Blue Mystics fan, your growth is a bit slow but you're going to love the Mystic when it's done.

I did one round of CFL mystic and one round of MH/HPS Mystic and while the smoke was beautiful with the CFLs, I'm in absolute dreamland with the MH/HPS Mystic.

maybe a inch is too close try 2''

they will burn leaves now if it was t5 that would work
i have seen bud speed dried in 10 minutes 1 inch from a 23 watt cfl so imagine how it would do on a plant

That looks like a 125w bulb. A 23-42w could probably be placed within an inch, but those 125s burn pretty hot. Also I've burn plenty of leaves because people said "put it an inch away." You'd be surprised how quickly a leaf can get being an inch away from a 42w for 20 hours.
