I'M AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF PISSOSITY...PLEASE HELP BEFORE I PUNCH A HOLE IN THE WALL!!!

TOO LATE....

Okay... long stry short, i am growing in the Aerogarden (SEE THREAD: https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/49995-first-indoor-grow-aerogarden-setup.html) and im having much success without the use of CFL's. But since everybody is yielding so much with em, im trying to go with the flow. I am very new to INDOOR growing.... and lights and me do not get along for some odd ass reason. I bought 4 CFL lights, 3 23w and one 28w. (i know theres stronger, working on it)

They all broke....

yes...

all of them....

and im mad as a rabid monkey with no bannanas....

Is thier any one out there in puff puff land that can show me a setup of a fixture to accomidate the AEROGARDEN setup... PLEASE

A list of the materials you used will be a godsend ... im no dummie, but a details on how they fit would be nice as well if its semi complicated....

This is how my closet is set up now....its about 6 x 6 (good size), prolly 10 or 12'' from floor to ceiling. The AG is sitting on a rack, and there is a rack about 3'' above it that can be taken down.

I already have:
Extension cords
light socket adapters (2)
light socket splitters (2)
and a light timer
(the only thing i believe i am missing is the figure 8 cord, on my way to hunt that down)

Thanks in advance, i know someone will come through for lil ol me... its just, if i go back out here and spend 30 bucks on another set of lights, and dont have a good idea on how to set them up.. imma break em again trying to rig up some crazy shyt.... and ive already punched a hole in the wall.... arrgh... its dutch master time....

not sure i understand, how did they brake? I have no experience with the aerogarden, but i have seen others on the site that had one, my mom grew tomatoes in one. couldn't you just remove the hood, go buy a 3 or 4 bulb vanity fixture from lowes for like $10-$15 put a Y adapter in each socket for a total of 6 or 8 bulbs, wire it with a extension cord[just match the colors] and hang it with a chain. Voila Let me know if you need any more help. GOOD LUCK

man you should just look around for a hydroponics store or just a grow store and get t5's i use them with my aerogarden they work great actually they will work for budding but its just not enough light either will the cfl's more light usually a better yield.

the bulbs broke because u touched the bulbs with your bare hands the oil from your hands causes the lights to heat up and bust use a cloth of some sort to work with the bulbs
