i was out today and decided to check the plants and i noticed my sativa plant which is just 4 feet high and 5 weeks into the flowering period, the buds are whats getting to be brownish and dieing off.

i know some of you would be like wow retard means the plant is ready.

but i had a friend look at it and he said it might be bugs but my buds have way longer to go.

anyways i only noticed this on 3-4 small buds but would like to stop it before it becomes a problem anyone got any ideas?

ive been using soapy water to keep bugs away and off

I'm not sure if you have this by any means, and I hope you don't. Borers, I got hit with them this year, they bore into the weakest part of the plant and consume the inside of your branches. They stop the plant from properly providing water to the plant, then eventually collapse it due to weakness. The branches they hit pretty hard you'll see the buds appear to be dying off.

Not saying that's what you have with no pictures or anything, but this is what they looked like on mine, it tells you how to fix it too.

Could be bud worms check the affected buds gently pull them apart or squeeze them gently and look for any very small worms or their silk webs they spin and their shit droppings. If you find them go buy some BT right now! If not mabye try neem oil?? Good luck!

i have seen webs but i thinks its just do to spiders that i have kept in the area,
1 because i like spiders.
2 because they keep shit away and eat em.
where can i get neem oil? i'm asking because im literally in the middle of nowhere in north canada!

A sure indication of a bud worm is a dead leaf appearing on an otherwise healthy bud.

At the top of the "Outdoors" forum is a thread on bud worms. Read up on Bt(Bacillus thurengiensis).

If not worms, you are probably dealing with mold.
