I would go with Big Bud or Bud Candy from Advanced Nutrients. My fave is actually Bid Bud:

Big Bud is the premier bloom booster supplement that makes buds swell up larger and more potent crop after crop because it has the precise combination and ratio of phosphorus, potassium, carbohydrates, fulvic acid, and L-Amino acids plants need for the most rapid, profitable and impressive bud formation.

You use Big Bud when you want the acclaimed bud potentiator guaranteed to create significantly heavier harvests with more essential oils, aromas and taste factors.

Big Bud infuses bloom phase with the plant-friendly L-form of all 20 amino acids that form the foundation for the best harvests ever.

Homebrewer - Would you say there was any advantage for DG over Jack's? Specifically for passive hydro (hempy).
I've only used Jacks on my orchids but in regards to using it in hempy buckets, i'd suggest picking up some calmag and using 2-3mls per gallon. OR, you can use their orchid booster (http://www.jrpeters.com/Products/Jack-s-Classic/Orchid-Bloom-Booster.html) with zero additives. Great NPK ratios and mineral content, I'm not sure how concentrated it is since it's a liquid and not a powder like their all purpose and blossom booster.

Thanks HG. My Christmas gift to myself is going to be a 4'x4' grow tent and a 600w light, for about 4-5 buckets. I started very basic, with CFLs and a Technaflora "starter" nute kit. I was overwhelmed using so many different products, because I subscribe to your school of thinking, that usually simplicity is king. Just recently I've been seeing posters like yourself (for DynaGro) and riddleme (for Jack's) who have been promoting the less expensive complete package fert products. Thanks for cutting through the hype for all of us hobbyists.

I thought you aren't supposed to use Superthrive during bloom?

I'm using FloraNova bloom right now with pretty good success, first grow, but they all look and smell amazing. I use a bunch of additives but I'd say if I was on a 50$ budget I'd just use floranova and a sweetener

I received my Dyna-Gro Liquid Blood nutes this morning! I mixed up a 5 gallon batch with 1 & 1/4 tsp. of the Dyna-Gro formula (about the recommended introductory dose and about 1/4 of the 'full' dose) Is this the correct 'water:nutrient' ratio for my plants ? Feedback asap would be appreciated, as id like to know before i use the water in the reservoir (tomorrow) :bigjoint:
