I'm about a week and a half in to flowering, my plants were getting too tall for my tent so I had to start tieing them down. my biggest plant about 4ft as I was trying to tie her down so that she woudlnt be so tall I bent the stalk in half!!!! will she be ok???? I tied a rope around the upper part of her to relive stress off of the bending point. please let me know what to do! I cant stake it as she sits too tall for my grow tent, any advice or information would be great! this is my first grow!

I had the same problem with mine during veg. What I did was took a price if hose that was approx. The same inside diameter as the stalk, cut it to a few inches, slit the middle and wrapped it around the break like a splint and softly secured it with zip ties . Within a few days the leaves above the break will let me know that it would be OK. After about a week I took the make shift splint off and the stalk was able to support its self.

Good luck

I've done that as well. I took a bamboo chopstick and tied it to the stalk with unwaxed dental floss. It healed up nicely and ended up with a fat knuckle where the bend was. Plants are pretty cool like that.

as long as you didnt break it clear off its good. Try to do the lst/super cropping in veg. Prepare for the future. I keep my plants all under 2ft tall, this plant here would be about 4-5 ft tall but i cropped the hell out of it. View attachment 2792683

some bends are 90 degrees, I always used duct tape to cast it for a week if I got too aggressive.
