ok so i was literally about to get off my exit to go home i was 5 minutes away, but it was raining hard and i was in bumper to bumper traffic for at least the previous 15 exits. so i was exhausted plus i had a long day looking for jobs PLUS there was no sun that day and it was around 6 so i was just beat. then out of no where this stupid bitch slams into the back of me at like 40 mph like wtf does she not realize were in traffic? to put it simply she fucking totaled her car(it was like a seabring or some old sedan)...i mean like the hood was higher than the windshield she wasent hurt and neither were we but she couldent even open her door or turn on her car on. she was all shook up so i gave her a hug told her dont worry about it...took it real easy. she was like "wow thank you so much for being so understanding....so what do we do i dont wanna call the cops..." im like yeah me neither so she was about to call tripple a but a cop who was also stuck in traffic pulled up and called a statie. i really diddent want to wait i was like right next to my house i was too tired for this shit so i gave her my number my address ect gave her a hug cuz she was shooken up and i told her i actually had to go. again gave her my information she told me she would call me soon. im pissed now but at the time i really diddent care because no one was hurt and get this barley ANY damage to my car. like the bumper is a lil off but i can snap it back in no biggie. some scratches, so later on i get a call from the police regarding the accident asked for my insurance gave it and at the end of the phone call the cops like oh by the way shes taking it to court so heres the case number. i wrote it down but at the time it diddent register because i was just trying to be on my best behavior to the cop. but after i got off i started thinking like wait what the fuck are you serious how the fuck is she going to take me to court when i was just rolling through traffic with my foot on the break and she slammed into the back of me? like what is that? in retrospect i really wish i did stay to give the cop my statemet but i really couldent have been bothered i was about to pass out. keep in mind this is the first accident ive ever been in so i really diddent know what the fuck to do and its been at least 4 years since driving school SOOOO my question is WHAT THE FUCK what should i do? i know i SHOULDENT have anything to be worried about BUT i told the girl i had shit in my car because she was my age and it seemed like a good excuse at the time lol i really wasent thinking much i was just trying to go to sleep. and in all honesty guys i had NO illigel anything on me or in my car or on my friend i had NOTHING i was just exausted. so yeah now im all freaking out if shes gonna try use that against me in court she seemed so nice what a fucking bitch she told me she was from a town which is 40 minutes away from me and she was going to this college to meet her friend (it was last night a friday night) so obviously this bitch is about to get drunk or something i mean WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS WORLD how is she going to take me to court like that? so yeah thats whats on my mind. hopefully someone on here with some legal knowledge can fill me in if i have anything to be concerned about. tomorrow im going to talk to a family friend but hes a real estate lawyer so idk how much he knows on this subject. thank you for reading and please help me get some peace of mind...you guys all know it life is rough right now. thanks again for reading and i hope i can know what im up against
