Please help this is very sad unexpected surprise. These girls were nothing but healthy, never a dry day. Never too hot, no problems with humidity. Feeding got up to 1600 PPMs and no burning at the tips. The one problem was they got too close to the lights for 4-5 days. There was no burning but this is all I could think could have been an issue.

HELP ME! ARE THESE SEEDS???

If they are how seeds how long will it take for them to mature. I am 10 days from harvest and 3 days into flush, should I be thinking about cutting these down.

I am finding these in almost all of the pods in the buds. They are connected to the hairs and look very much like small green seeds.

yes, they sure look like immature seeds to me.. and i agree.. there's no sense in harvesting them early.. let em ride..
you must have had one of them go hermie on you.. . what about light leaks? can you think if you had any kind of light leaks during flowering???

No, but I do go in there sometimes with a green LED to dump the water from the dehumidifier. Could this have caused something? My A/C has some green lights on it that I covered in tape but there is still a slight glow around the tape. Ive heard that a good tell if its too much light is if you can see your hand while standing in front of it. I can see nothing, its like being blind in there.

Ill keep a few plants but I cant have lbs of seeded bud. How long will it take for them to develop. I forgot to mention the ones to the right are the plants that are behind 10 days in flowering. So they dont seem to have developed much in 10 days... does this mean I may still have a chance to harvest a week early and them not be very noticeable. At this stage do they sprakle or pop while smoking?

Im flowering in coco so I can harvest in 4 days at the soonest, 7 days flush should be enough right?... I used clearex the first day and Ive flushed a ton of water each time. Should I just harvest now or in 4 days. The trichs are 90% cloudy and 10% clear. I know you guys are saying its not worth it to cut now but I have to save as much of it as I can. Like I said I cant have a ton of seeded bud, that isnt going to pay $1k/month power bill.

Those could be unfertilized swollen ovules. Generally the pistils will be retracted on fertilized seeds (the pistil traps the pollen and pulls it close allowing it to burrow itself down into the ovule). Pretty interesting if those are seeds - you have totally sparked my curiosity.

How long will these seeds take to mature?

I have looked through all the plants and I have not found one hermie hair or sack, I had a few hermies in the garden like 3 years ago so I know what they look like. If they self seeded from stress will they take longer to develop? I am asking because the other table that is 10 days behind has seeds that are not that much smaller.

I am going to flood them and remove as much of the nutes as possible, at least I can get them to flush as much as I can in case they have to be cut down.

to fully functioning seeds 3-4 weeks.
The hull forms in about 3 days then gradually gets filled with starches and oils over the next weeks.
pollen only lasts a month or so at best in a grow room. Water will kill it imediately.

How could I tell if they werent seeds? You have sparked the only hope

Wait... Unfortunately marijuana plants can create fertile seeds asexually without fertilization so they could still be seeds without the pistil being retracted. Cut one in half and post a pic.

Damm well yes if these are seeds there was no pollination going on so I guess they are getting cut early :(

Well if they are seeds and they are the result of asexual reproduction they are most likely clones of the mother. (high probability of feminized seeds). However if the strain you are growing is a stabilized hybrid (as in both parents are different strains that produce a stabilized offspring with certain know characteristics) then the seeds might be feminized but not carry the same traits. Its a weird concept but if you take strain A and cross it with B to get AB and then produce seeds with AB you will not end up with AB seeds. You'll likely end up with AA or BB or Aa or Ab...

Now I am even more curious. If they are seeds let a few mature and try and grow em out - you might have created a nice seedstock if nothing else.

diferent strains will develop seeds at different rates and there is a lot of other variables too. It's not so bad let her or it finish up properly IMO the seeds likely still wont be mature by than anyways. You just will have a couple seeds don't worry bout it at tis stage. Oh heres a pic of one of mine seeded for ya.

They are 3nd generation in other words their mother was taken as a clone from a plant that was grown out from seed. The seeds were from a seed bank, federation seed co. I do not think the original seeds were feminized. I will keep looking for a hermie but I dont think there is one. If they were just asexually produced then why is the other table at a similar stage of the seed? Are these just slow growing or did the girls all go into "shock" together? I am asking this because now I wonder what I will do with the other 30 that would still have a minimum of 14 days to go if they were cut at the same stage as the bigger ones will be.

I will keep one plant just to find out what I can get as I believe they will be feminized but as for the rest of them they need to be harvested as soon as possible before the seeds are very noticable. Has this happened to you before? Does anyone know if there will be a ton of seeds as if they were pollinated? If it was just one or two it would be ok but I find them at the base of every pistil.

I just want to get them cut before the seeds really start to POP. Ive had a few seeds in my bud before but this is a lot. In that picture it doesnt seem that noticeable, was it mature and ready to be cut?
