Plant are going on week 2. The seeds popped in 24hrs, broke ground quickly and seemed like they were going to be very vigorous. I was happy and thought all was going well. Then I wake up this morning and they look MISERABLE. I am not a newbie, this is NOT my first time growing, however I have been mostly an outdoor grower up until recent times and have rarely had problems other than the grey mold from outdoor humidity and spider mites (FUCK. SPIDER. MITES.) . I am not sure what's going on here with this grow, I have never encountered this problem(s) before.

They are under 1000w LED, planted in a generic organic seedling soil, no added nutrients, only additional thing added was mycorrhizae which I HIGHLY doubt has anything to do with it, they have not been over or under watered ( about every other day or when dry/light ). The only possible thing I can think of that's been done differently this grow is the starter pots. I have never used this particular brand before. Could this have something to do with the roots not having enough air or poor drainage? The soil did not seem bad but after watering appeared a bit dense, though it does contain sphagnum and perlite in the mix and they have been fine so far until now.

The bottom of the pots seem moist, though I always pour away the runoff after watering so they don't sit in it for more than 5-10 min MAX which is making me worry that the roots could mold/rot if not properly monitored and cared for. Is is too late/too stressful to move into better draining soil if that does happen to be the problem or is this a deficiency that I'm unfamiliar with? PLEASE, any insight from an experienced indoor grower and/or someone who has encountered and solved this problem before is GREATLY appreciated.

In less than 2 days they went from this:

Yes, however it looks like the bottoms of the starter cups are staying damp for some reason. I never water unless the top of the soil is dry. Today was the first time in a couple days that I lifted one out of the tray they sit on and I noticed the top was dry but the bottom was really damp. I'm beginning to think its these damn starter pots and if so idk how I will transplant if needed without shocking them and potentially stunting their growth, probably afftecting yeild if they make it to flower...this sucks, they looked so healthy before.

Hello, that yellow looks a bit over watered along with the limp leaves.

Try and move them a bit further from you lights let em dry out a bit more, Sometimes I will roll the pot in my hands to loosen the roots and give them a bit more air that way but be gentle when of if you do. Maybe a tiny bit of Nitrogen too. just a little she's young so it don't need much.

Good luck hopefully she will be come back fine.

I thinm u may b right. I did gently roll the pot and i also put a wire rack underneath them for better air flow. Upon inspecting them, the bottoms of the pots are definitely wet but the tops dry.

Also noticed a white fuzz on the outside of the pots underneath, which im praying is just from the introduction of mycorrhizae and supposed to be beneficial. If its a mold, well... I'm in more trouble than I thought originally. We will see... Thank you 4 the suggestion, i appreciate that.

You're drowning them.

You're way, way, WAY over thinking the whole thing. Stop reading all the bullshit on websites. It's a fucking weed. Let it grow and stop drowning it and putting screens in it and adding shit to it.

You don't need to feed it anything until you get it in the large final pot it's going to live in the rest of its life.

I haven't fed it anything. If u bothered to actually read what I wrote u would know the only thing added was mycorrhizae which is supposed to help with root development when transplanted and is not a food. Not sure what u mean by adding screens, and yes I'm well aware of all the bullshit online and really dont need a lecture. Just looking for simple solutions from someone whos dealt w/ this before ...thanks

Yea I figured that was the case when i saw how wet the bottom was, just wanted 2 b sure it wasnt something else that I may have overlooked. I havent watered since I noticed the issue and have since placed them on a rack and will let them dry out real nice before doing anything else. Thank you

ok Ill address the elephant in the room.

the 1000 watt led
How far away is this 1000w led
They should or could be under a couple of 2 foot t-5 bulbs or a cfl grow bulb on each at this stage.

You also have them sitting by a window in the sun are you trying to harden them off to be placed outside.
That could be fucking with you.

mycorrhizae takes a bit for it to develop and get established and you still have to transplant them again. Microbes is what you want.

and the soil doesnt look over-watered to me and if they are in like a cardboard pot then I would expect the bottom to look wet.

That was only for the purpose of taking the picture. They will not/can not be outside, the outdoor growing season where I am is over. They are in a 4x4x6 tent.
The Light is positioned correctly, I don't use cfls nor do I really care to tbh.
The bottoms are wet I explained that, the picture doesn't show the bottom of the pot it shows the plant.
Thank you for the input though I'm pretty sure the problem is figured out for now. I will give it another day or two and see what happens and then go from there. I will see if I can find a picture of the pot itself to clarify.
