Help, advise needed, CFL indoor grow

LST is a great idea and to be honest, screw CO2 as it is not worth it. CO2 is only good when you have your grow setup dialed in perfectly and just want a little extra boost. In your situation it would be a total waste of money. All you need is more light and I would try LST per slipon's suggestion. As far as a "runt" goes, I had the same thing and when I switched to 12/12 it turned into my largest plant and grew to over 5' tall.

the thing is that it is mostly sativa and suppose to be not runt at all :) It must be either lights or water... I wonder if adding nutes reduces the pH of water. in that case I was watering her with too low pH.

By the way, it is just an idea, maybe because I was doing a lot of foliage spray, maybe it was getting enough water through leaves and did not stretched its roots because it did not needed?

any opinion about this?
in some pictures the ground looks wet only because I was spraying the very top so the fan would ventilate it and make air more humid around.

Foliage feeding is a waste of time.

Ah I love this forum, such a friendly and helpful environment! Thank you guys. I am way more positive and confident now, can't wait to get back from work and add some light :)
Keep it rolling!

Well, good luck sir! My best piece of advice is, don't fucking sweat it! My second best piece of advice is, have patience.

BTW

your humidity is`t bad, and your love it when flowering, actually around 40% is pretty good for both Veg and flowering, tho no matter what you dont have to make a big deal out of it unless your totally off 20% or less or +90 between 40 and 60% is preferable for most stages

tho as seedlings with a bit low RH I do also like to mist em like you do (just don't do it in flowering) I mist em with as fine mist as possible, and I do it underneath the leaf`s as its there the pores the plant breath with is located, I use rain water to avoid lime, and a drop of Yucca (water agent) Wet Beddy can also be used, not necessary but also sumthing to look in to in time

if you want to avoid over watering and also get a nice root net in the future, start em in cups and do a repot or two along the way, weed like to spread its roots out to the side, so if you start em in big pot/containers you both have a risk of overwatering them as the pot can hold more water then a small seedling can use (I like to use cups/pots where I have to water every 2-3 day) and the plant won't use the middle 30% of the soil so to speak, as you moveing up in size you grow a nice big root net in the middle of the final pot, remember to do the final repot before 12/12

Oh damn, I think I was doing foliage spray in a wrong way :) I was spraying upper side and my spray thingy instead of fine mist was making small drops.. Very useful information for my next plants, but considering this one, what would you suggestions be? is 3 gallon pot enough to flower this plant? Or should I move it to smaller container, and then gradually repot it few times? what you think?

if it was me ..

I would just keep it in the 3 gallon, would only stress it to move it now, and 3G is nice for a CLF grow

but on your next grow make it your final pot, and use a cup fist and maybe even a 1 gallon in between and the 3 gallon a week before 12/12

I would get it more light for sure 3x6500K and 1x2700K for Veg. and a few more 2700K once in 12/12..

root`s should be out to the sideby now, with a little more light I would expect to see some good grow next few weeks..

in a weeks or so I would LST her (tie here down) use a string just over the soil to secure her to the side of the pot and bend her down in the opposite direction (I use two strings so the bend is`t to "sharp" one half way up and other one at the top, if your scared of it snapping you can do it a little at the time over a few days ..

after LSTing you will see all the side shoots growing up, competing for top spot, as the grow hormones have been redirected from the main shoot that is now tied down, like a tree that have falling down in a storm but survives, it will continue to grow but "side ways"

I normaly get between 6 and 12 main colas, not as big as with only one, maybe 1/3 the size but if I have 12 ... well you do the math !!

just harvest one the other day,56 grams top Buds, manicured and dried, and I guess about 20-30 grams of lower buds that will go in to oil makeing with the sugar leaves

voilator Kush 2 weeks as seedling 4 weeks Veg, 66 days flowering, LST`d under 296W T5HO in Veg and 600W HPS for flowering with 4 other plants

Simisimis,

It sounds like you are on the right track as far as troubleshooting...you will never know for sure what you ph is until you have a more accurate meter. Just give her all the love you can and continue studying and perfecting your craft.

Hi again, Slipon, great directions, I started taking them and already on the 2nd day I see some really nice result. 3rd day not watering, will keep keep her under surveillance and dry for another day or two so she would put some energy in root development to reach for water. I believe she will give me a sign that is enough of not watering her :) After I added more lights she showed me some appreciation after an hour already, was bending towards the brighter light. So I am keeping one 3 inches away and two 1-2inches away, checking the temperature whether she will not show any heat stress. But I believe she shouldn't since temperature is 75-78. So in less than two days I got some nice growth comparing to previous days. here are some pics. first one shows the progress in two days. Another pic shows how small the spacing between the nodes are and some two days progress in side branch development. uptill day 25 there was almost none of growth in there.

Soon will be adding more light so She could enjoy it even more... :)
Slipon have you tried supercropping? I read a lot about both and wanted to try supercropping instead of lst for her, however now I am thinking that in this situation LST would be more practical, since I can already do LST whereas I would need to wait for some more time to supercrop her. What do you think I should go for another week and then LST or I could already start training her?
By the way, today I also noticed some root on the sides of my transparent pot, so soon she will probably start going down with the roots. Such a relief that everything getting back on track :) thanks for staying with me on this!
Peace!
